Posted: 2/24/2005 1:38:00 PM | Just wondering as i have only been here a week or so and haven't really seen too much on what a good time frame is for meeting online to in person. Myself; I would like to do it ASAP to make sure the person is who they say they are and if there was no spark; could move on.
Any stories/advice? | |

Posted: 2/24/2005 1:50:55 PM | I would have to go with you Crystal....some people advise against IM or doing chat sessions with someone, because they have a tendency to stall meeting in person.
So often I come across this, after a few long chats, I would ask for their number, and they'd be like "Um...I'm not ready" or "I don't like to be pressured"
However, its hard to find someone actually WILLING to meet you sooner than later. | |

Posted: 2/24/2005 4:42:04 PM | Don't worry about that, I do the same thing. I find that if the online chat goes on for too long, you start to build an unrealistic picture of the person. I also like to meet after a few (3 or 4) good chat sessions to make sure what I've been told so far is true and to see if there is an attraction. Chemistry is a big thing and you can't measure that online. Good luck and stick to your guns!  | |

or when men say 'sure friendship' they always mean something else...
