What was it?

Was it good? bad? so-so?

Nanny McPhee - absolutely loved it. Great family movie.
The DaVinci Code - fantastic! A definite buy for us!
Wolf Creek - sucked...big time!
Over the Hedge - Hilarious! Also a buy for us.

The only theatre I really like going to is The Oxford. I find the rest have this weird smell which I won't get into describing. It bugs me. So I DVD it a lot instead.

DVD Picks:
Long Kiss Goodnight
Kill Bill Series
Natural Born Killers
Sin City
Serenity
Dune - David Lynch's version
The Fantastic Planet - its a french cartoon with english subtitles, very surreal though
Mothman Prophecies
Pirates of the Carribean
Uprising
The Joy Luck Club - makes me cry
Robroy
Being Jon Malkovich

I liked Da Vinci Code and couldn't figure why the churches were so upset...

I saw
the Lake House - I think the two leads have nice chemistry (but still like the action of speed)

Movies I've walked out on Wolf Creek and House of 1000 corpses.

Best Movies I've seen were....

Old School
Dodgeball
and
The Rundown

There's tons more but i won't bore ya..The movie i thougth was going to be great but turned out to be just ok was Brokeback Mountain.. I mean you cant go wrong seeing Jake Gyllenhall and Heath Ledger without shirts but the first hour was like so boring. I mean it was still good but i think it got soo much hype.

Elisa the movie of the Da Vinci Code was not the same as the book. The book was more controversial for the church. The movie just touches on the high points. The stuff with flash.

Probably will "nerd it" to my local movie theatre and see the new Star Trek. I've heard it was supposed to be good.

Maybe the new Terminator sequel, too.

Hopefully, I'll see something good this summer that isn't a prequel/sequel in an established movie franchise.

As an actress Beyonce makes a good singer. Obsessed was ok, nothing spectacular, it's a story that has been done many times.

Considering there are much better actresses on the planet , someone else would have been better in the role. But considering she and her father were producers, I see why she got the part. When your footing the bill , you get to do what you want.

I don't agree, I think she played the role very well. If if it was a more serious role, then maybe in my opinion she wouldn't have fit it very well.
And you are assuming she got the part due to the connections she has, and that might be true, but how many times in life do people get ahead by who they know?
