Posted: 6/24/2006 10:56:01 PM | generally the way it makes them feel, the freedom and they get to briefly play the bad girl image.... just what i have observed in my lifetime of biking. and all bikes have a certain vibration that gets them feeling things without even being touched by the operator of the machine i.e. engine rpm's, bikes gear ratio... will set a vibration into the bike that.....(use your imagination here). this includes imports so please don't turn this into an american over import brands thread i know from first hand expirience that it is true for all makes you merly need to find that rpm and gear ratio that will make your throttle hand go numb and it works for her.  | |

I'm not big fan of Harleys even though they're great to look at. But my preferance is a race bike, like Yamaha, Suzuki, or even some BMW's. Nothing like looking at those bikes with a hottie of a guy sitting on it. I have a few of my friends that race as well. Now you wanna talk adrenaline..Thats what its all about. Now you do have your wanna be bikers who think its gonna make them look cool, then the true at heart bikers. Its the true bike lovers who ride cause they love it that makes it all the more admirable. I just love it...no reason in particular other than that.. | |

Posted: 6/25/2006 1:50:28 AM | I passed my bike test in 1972 (yea I know it's a lifetime away!) and instantly I saw how I became different to, was going to say women but of course it was just girls.
A bike has a form of non conformism already attached, films, books all see this, so does the opposite sex. Its pretty universal too. I can park my 30yr old Honda 500 in a pub car park and STILL it attracts attention. You'll know from riding there's a freedom you just cannot get from anything else in life. I've been a pro guitarist for over 20yrs but the bike still excites women more than my Gibson 335. B. | |

Posted: 6/25/2006 2:00:21 AM | Coming from an old-school view the motorcycle use to represent the "bad boy" image and that for some reason is sooooo sexy. Oh women can deny it till we're blue in the face but secretly we all love the bad boy...Mr. wore leather and ripped jeans and was the rebel without a cause James Dean type man. So now even the good boys never did anything bad got straight A's took accounting and law, worked their butts off and became someone can have that image with the bike, and boys we like it better when the good boys pretend to be the bad boys. Just as much as when men want the good girl to play French Maid, or the Scantly Clad Nurse...it's a turn on, a rush and its damn sexy to have all that power between our thighs. Wanna turn a woman on take her for a fast ride, give her that adrenaline rush with none of the other crap that comes with the "bad boys" and woweeee!

even if the girls did'nt like it,i would still do it for as long as i possibly can...
if the girls like it,its a good secondary reason to do it...
i wanted to ride motorcycles since i was 4,when my mothers bf at that time picked her up on his bike....i was hooked from that time on .........so far my love for bikes, has outlasted the love of any girl.....the one constant in my life is change,and my love for biking....
