| Condom or No Condom Posted: 4/17/2004 7:52:57 AM | | 1st time guys you wear the condom, ladies you ask for the condom. But when do you decide that you dont want the condom ? or Do you right up front say You dont wear them guys, or do you ladies prefer guys without condoms ? | |

| Re: Condom or No Condom Posted: 4/17/2004 9:08:06 AM | | Tricky nowadays.....I've known couples who wont even have sex until the blood work comes back claiming they are aids free. For me it's two weeks on average.......so the birth control pills have a chance to kick in. I know you women are going to say it only takes a week, but I like to be extra careful!! I personally hate using condoms, you lose too much feeling, but I wouldn't go without one today......until the paper work comes in. To quote Metallica...."Sad but true" | |

| Re: Condom or No Condom Posted: 4/17/2004 10:53:33 AM | For me, as much as the condom sometimes interferes with feeling, I have to issue about wearing one.
I hate negative surprises and I certainly don't want to find I have something I never had before.
Secondly, I don't want someday to have a lawyer - or my (inbeknownst to me) kid knocking on the door saying: "Hi Pa!"
I guess for me the time would be when I was fully prepared to commit to someone indefinitely and unconditionally that I would relinquish the shield.

| Re: Condom or No Condom Posted: 4/18/2004 5:22:56 AM | I think its important to be safe. No its not the best feeling in the world, but at least you wont have anything unwanted coming to yah... There are so many other ways to enjoy sex before the condom goes on, so being safe is a plus.

| Re: Condom or No Condom Posted: 4/18/2004 12:06:28 PM | | Never leave home without them! One special pocket that nothing else goes in except for the wrapping material! That way you don't ruin them with your house keys..... and for those who think a wallet is a good place to keep them (wrong)! Plus unless you're only planning to play once you won't have enough in your wallet. But on the subject at hand here, Definately in todays world a must. I think it's of the utmost importance to always be prepared, you never know when opurtunity will knock, and if your partner says they don't like condoms. Then they can just play by them selves. Oh well there's more. The key to haveing alot of good sex is not breaking your junk!!!!! Take care of it, and it will serve you well.lol | |

| Re: Condom or No Condom Posted: 4/18/2004 7:01:56 PM | I agree.. Condoms are a must.
Someone I knew once used to say.. Using condoms are like taking a shower with your clothes on! lol
But yeah.. better safe than sorry....
Which reminds me of some freaks out there, one time I was with a man, and he refused to wear one!!! I refused to have sex then.. He reluctantly put it on.. but bitched the whole time.. Talk about Killing the mood!!! Urggg

| Re: Condom or No Condom Posted: 4/19/2004 10:01:09 AM | | hmm i hate them plus I dont need one when u are with the hubby. I have the iron shield.. n one will knock me up !! lol...but now im single and yes its's a must. I get tested every six months for all of it but I cant trust a new person. Its uncomfortable but a guy I knew from school i ran into him and he confessed sadly that he had aids first time sex.. and now hes gonna die one day// I was devasted for him. If u are lucky you can find some nice racy condoms with ribbing or whatever....and if are creative get a ring.. wow its great!!! | |

| Re: Condom or No Condom Posted: 4/19/2004 9:44:34 PM | | Condom always until the bloodwork comes back and you have a heart to heart with you SO about sex with no one else. This also where the ground rule of no CHEATING comes into play. If they are thinking about cheating then break up. That's one of the things that my last girlfriend did correctly. Rather than cheat she broke up and started the new relationship. Heartbreaking, sad, but correct. I hate sex with a condom but the thought of HIV is much, much worse. I had a friend contract HIV overseas. As you can imagine, his wife and kids were very upset. Condom, bloodwork, no cheating. Its simple. Don't mess it up or it's your life. | |

| Re: Condom or No Condom Posted: 4/20/2004 2:59:01 PM | Sex needs to be seriously talked about before it happens, that is part of a healthy relationship! There is much to talk about in regards to protection. Frankly I would not let a guy near me without an aids test and a health physical and certainly NEVER without a condom.
Once 2 people are in a serious relationship and have been together for some time I feel it would be ok to not use condoms. However with a lot of guys and women out there cheating around I am not so sure if even than this is a wise choice to not have protection.
There is much ignorance still out there today about protection....................just remember the one person you have sex with had sex with another and that person with another and so on................so think about real carefully before you have unprotected sex with anyone.

| Re: Condom or No Condom Posted: 6/5/2004 5:30:50 AM | | Yeppers, I'd have to agree with the people. Wear a rubber.. There are a few things that you can do to "add" feeling. Think of trimming or shaving the southern region:P That way it's super sensitive and you will feel it more. There are alternatives such as diaphrams and other contriceptives, however I'd go with the good ol glove of love :D | |
