I may not care for the person intimately but its always a great thing to make new friends. ( have a couple slobs that are person friends )

I do agree with the guy that said if you're a bigger gal and you take care of yourself is alot different than a woman who is big and CLEARLY doesn't take care of herself.
Myself? I'm a bigg(ER) girl....but I wouldn't say HUGE, and I'm almost 40.....what category does that put me in? | |

It is very hard to date around here. A lot of the men are more into themselves then a woman, so with that I don't think size matters. My friend is a big girl and she does take care of herself, but the people that are attracted to her are the people that don't take care of them selves. (They make a person want to date...NOT*) There is nothing wrong with the girls and I think that you will find MR. RIGHT. There are just a lot of dead beats you have to push out of the way to get on the right path. | |

Marilyn Monroe was plus size back in her day and look at how much men loved her. But I think that its completely a fact of what is looked down on in your area and the groups you find yourself in. I've met a lot of men that love big girls or dont care if I'm a bigger girl but you get the same guys that say that but act differently if their friends are around. Or in my case, the love of your life won't stay with you because his family doesnt accept me because of my weight. I guess I dont see what the issue is. We are great people on the inside and have great amounts of beauty on the outside also. Who cares about weight? | |

Now i get the unwanted attention from a lot of men...not all...I would never want to be bigger again just because i am healthy now and can live a better life for my daughter....and i will say one thing...i miss my boobs!...LOL | |

Posted: 9/28/2005 2:49:11 PM | Well i'm a big girl, and i can't say that i enjoy being big, but if i really wanted to be skinny...don't you think i would be? It really bothers me how much big people have to go through harrassment, such as being at school and people saying things or just being starred at and you know what they are thinking. Sometimes it really does suck, but i usually just try to tell myself if they were worth my time i'd care what they thought. I like big guys but i think it's only because i am big. But either way, i'd rather have a big guy cuz i'd rather be cuddled....then be the cuddeler! ...thanks! | |

I agree with what was said earlier.. There IS a huge pressure from society to be with the skinny toothpicks.. because, as far as society is concerned, skinny is sexy..

There is nothing wrong with an overweight, or "big" girl. I'm not trying to offend anyone in this post, and if I do, feel free to hunt me down and jab me with toothpicks or whatever it is people do these days. What I am saying is, its the heart, the mind, and the soul that counts.
I cannot say I speak from experience, I never really dated anyone who would be classified as "big" or "overweight, but ALOT of my female friends are such, and they are the most caring, loving, intelligent people you would ever meet. I guess its because they feel that because they are not asthetically pleasing by "society (cough..***holes..cough)" standars, then they have to become more pleasing in the intellect, or sense of nurturing department..
Besides.. lets say you meet a "supermodel" figured babe.. well, you get to know her, shes totally transparent, but you are "in love" with her because of her looks (ahem..cough cough..shallow PR****..cough cough) well eventually, you either 1.Get dumped for a newer model over time, or 2.Marry the lass, have kids, and 20 years down the road, chances are shes gonna be "big" later on in life.. you gonna dump her because she put on a few pounds? I THINK NOT! That "big"ness is nothing more than the extra pounds SHE put on for YOU to make that little miracle that is sleeping in the next room.. Now.. are you gonna leave her because of that? If you are, give me your name and address so I can drive a MAC TRUCK and a JOHN DEER EXCAVATOR RIGHT UP YOUR ***
