Posted: 2/27/2005 1:17:58 AM | Hello, I really need some advice on this one! I moved into a new apartment last month and my neighbours countinuously wake me up at like 4:00am having LOUD sex. I mean I can hear EVERYTHING. I'm really not impressed and quite often end up kciking the wall to make some of my own noise to get them to shut the hell up. I mean, I need sleep so I can be alert and focused at my own job. I'm up right now at 4:15, because they're at it again. I'm VERY tempted to just write them a letter and put it under their door, but then I woner if I should let the landlord know. What do I do people? Please, help me save my sanity!! Thanks!!!  | |

Posted: 2/27/2005 1:26:48 AM | give their address to your mental health establishment, and sign them up for some classes...and if they wake you up any longer...wait until they are sound asleep...then crank your stereo really loud...but play really agitating music. Like death metal or something...be obscene back...maybe they will tone it down.

Not having looked at your profile, I don't know where you are, but in canada, after 11pm it's a noise law violation to have really loud sex and you can be fined. Decibel levels are great.
If all else fails, get up at 2 or 3 am and have very loud, enthusiastoc sex with yourself and let them hear it. Once they realize how thin the walls are, they will probably shut up 9and if oyu know the husband's name, call that out frequently) | |

Posted: 2/27/2005 10:19:44 AM | you have to do something about it...i would suggest complaining to them first, a letter written to them is a good idea, just keep a copy for yourself incase it has to escalate further later on, you'll have proof that you sent it :)
tell them that it bothers you and it interrupts your sleep, and if it happens again, you'll go to the landlord, then the cops..etc.. hopefully they'll get it and be more considerate. | |

I'd suggest talking to the lady when you see her, or when you know the guy isn't around. Perhaps if you see her in the laundry room or hallway. Mention it to her like it's a big secret and talk about it as if you'd be REALLY embarrassed if you were her (personally, I'd LMAO, but that's me).
If that doesn't work, just sit very close to the wall and start moaning back...mimic everything you hear, but in a a lewd and comical way. That should send the message.
Or, you can always buy a vibrator and tape it to the wall, turn it on....and leave it there too. I did that with my electric toothbrush to a really ignorant neighbour once. | |

on one, write the number "5.8" (technical programme)
when they leave thier abode, hold it up...then drop that one and
