when i was that age...well we didn't have the internet we went to parties and pubs and met at school and the community arena.....i just don't get it.
If they are having problems meeting....yikes I'm 44 now....I'm doomed........LOL | |

Besides, due to some self esteem issues and crap like that I find it extremely difficult to go up to guys because I've been badly teased as a teen so most of the time I have that the guy I'm looking at is thinking that I'm ugly or something like that. I've met some really great guys (unfortunately long distance) online and I've had a wonderful year long relationship with one guy so I think that it might be easier for me to meet a guy online, let him judge me on my personality first and then maybe meet and hope for the best. | |

As to me it's a time think, that and I don't very often drink. I'm online pretty much 24/7 so seemed the best route for me personally ... of course I'm 27 so I'm at the outside of you're age group lol.

Someday in the future somebody will come up with robots. These robots will come in male and female genders. People will buy their favorite robot. The downside is that humanity might end. Or the robots will take over the Earth and whatever other places colonized by humans. Ha ha ha but the robots won't be able to do anything about the cockroaches who around that time are evolving into intelligent beings.

You stated that Alabama's drinking age was 18, and it isn't. You didn't say it wasn't enforced until the facts were presented to you. As an MP of 12+ years I can say for a fact that what you said about enforcement there is total bullshit. Ask a trooper? You're kidding right? About enforcing a law. We have what we call officer discretion. If I catch a kid with a beer who's 18, I myself will let him/her go because I do believe that if you can die for your country, you can drink in it, BUT, if I get a kid that's drunk off his ass acting stupid, I'll enforce the LAW and lock his ass up. It's a case-by-case judgement call on scene. Sorry, but maybe you should ask the thousands of underage drinkers that were busted in Alabama every year whether or not the law was enforced and to "ask a trooper". :/
On topic: I don't see why not, meaning, even though the internet wasn't around for me at 19, it's an extra avenue to look for people whether thats for friends or dating. The traditional things don't always work, i.e. the bars, etc..., so why not try here? | |
