can we, as men, actively boycott these women to prevent their dna from infiltrating future women? | |

Not to mention assuming that what is true of a few pagans is true for all. Imagine if all christians were judged by the actions of Jerry Falwell or Jim Bakker.

Posted: 7/13/2006 4:20:58 AM | Some male friends of mine gave me this really cool necklace that says "Goddess of Strength". I told them how sweet I thought it was but I was hardly a goddess. They then replied that to them, a goddess is a woman of great inner strength and grace.
I can't say that I'm in touch with my 'inner goddess' but if someone wishes to refer to me as a goddess, I guess I can live with that.
If you wish to keep future women from becoming strong and graceful, perhaps we can boycott men to prevent their dna from infiltrating men with stupidity and ignorance. | |

I found this simply by googling "Inner Goddess". I didn't even look around. It was the first link that came up.

Posted: 7/13/2006 10:49:17 PM | Egads ! The moment a guy hears a woman describe herself as "princess" or "goddess" , he runs in the opposite direction. It screams "It's all about me !" to a guy.
Maybe the ladies view it differently than most guys do but just as a little FYI , it's a good way to scare off Mr. Right. The connotations are simply too powerfully embedded with those terms when used self-descriptively. Sorry but that's just how most guys (at least, the ones I know) see things.
So that's the question then : are some of you fine ladies conscious of the impact these terms have on your potential dating life ? | |

And sexy.
Plus, it can refer to the Mother God, if one believes in her. Which I do.  But I won't discuss Her further in this particular forum; it's best for the religion section.
Women have been forced into submission for ages. There is nothing wrong with recognizing our feminine power and utilizing it -- just as there is nothing wrong with men utilizing their masculine power. | |

I for one don't have a fixation with my vagina, but as a proud pagan woman, I do identify the divine ~ please note that it's spelled DIVINE ~ as female. Mother Earth has been around a lot longer than God, thus it's not really trendy. To restate what I said earlier, you can't judge all by the actions of a few. | |

Spirituality is very individual and when trying to explain one's belief system to another it can get muddled up in the process.
And what's wrong with something tapping into their inner Goddess/Warrior/God/Totem or whatever you prefer to tap into? If it helps one to find spiritual strength, beauty and confidence which they use to enrich their lives and those around them--what's wrong with that? The Goddess spirituality is a means by which women have been able to find the beauty of the feminine and the female form and for some people it is very enriching. What's so different between that and someone who finds their spiritual centre through their church/place of worship/family religious traditions, etc. | |

I guess because you have looks you think you can get away with murder. I have dated some of these girls and it usually last about one date.
Don't know how many times I have heard " I don't do laundry, I don't cook and I don't clean"
Good for you....................explain to me again what good you are???????
