i dont know if you will agree but this is by far the most useless site i have been on. not that i have heard of any wothwhile dating site.
i havent received replies from more 2 people i messaged and one reply.. ........either all this is just fake.. or people arent genuine.
one time a girl even played the fol around and turned out to be a male. i guess this is not the place for a straight .... open minded decent fellow... | |

anjann - this is a serious dating site, not a pick-up joint like lava life - for the most part. Most people on ehre are looking for a meaningful relationship of some sort - even if it turn out only to be friends, or something like that. Therefore, people are more picky. Just keep trying, and post in the forums so people can get to know you better. | |

I had one absolutely amazing relationship with an amazing man due to this site. And to this day we are still very close. I have also made so many friends and even when in other states randomly meeting up with pofers. This place is great.
I reccomend it to everyone.

Posted: 3/1/2005 3:20:14 PM | As I may have said before, for me, this is the best site that I have ever seen. The mail that I have received is really fast getting to me Hotmail box, there are some very insightful intelligent people here, and a lot of the threads address real heartfelt questions.
Meeting someone may take a while, but that's just the way it is. In the meantime, perhaps joining some of the threads may expose you to others in a different way than your profile does.
POF may not have as many people as some of the pay sites, but the download, and mail is fast. Also, you never know when someone who is not a match will tell a friend who will be a match.

It’s an online community of people that share varied ideas and thoughts over a large geographical area.
