He was in the 7th grade, and wanted me to like his little brother, who happened to be in my class.
I grew up, went to junior hight school, called him out while he was in high school, and he took me out on my first date.
I went back and forth for a while, with various crushes, but told him he was going to be my senior prom date.
He was.
I went off to college, and he told me we will likely meet again and have lots of babies.
I got engaged in my first year of college. He found out and told my mother, if it didnt work out, he would ask me to marry him.
I broke up with my engaged mate, and married a childhood friend 11 months after breaking off my engagement.
Lost contact of my first love.
16 years later, marriage over, pissed off with men, my sister tells me that someone has been trying to reach me....
My first love and I went on a date 3 months ago.
We are really close, but there is no future, but he did want to know why didnt I let him know my engagement was off, he would have married me...

The year was 1993. I was in the third grade, and a slight speech disability alienated me from most of my peers, drastically limiting my social skills. Years later that disability has been conquered, and now I am just fine. Anyway, there was a new girl in class who stole my attention immediately. Tall, long red hair (and I'm usually not all that partial to redheads), a smile that would turn your knees to jelly and brown eyes you could fall into and not care. She was on the quiet side, much like myself, and said the occasional "Hi Bobby, how are you?" should she be passing by. This was still the stage in my life when I was supposed to think that girls were icky, so I knew that my feelings for Ashley here must have been special. A few weeks later, the magical torture that is Valentine's Day arrived, and I had to do something that could very possibly change my love life forever. After school that day, I stopped by her house (luckily, she was right on the bus stop that we passed by every morning), and I gave her a cute little box of Valentine's Day chocolates and other assorted candies. She graciously accepted the gift, and we said our goodbyes. The following days I waiting for some sort of reciprocation, but alas. She never spoke to me again. From then on, the farthest to getting close to a girl was just being friends, and rejecting the stalkers who apparently have never heard of hygene before. | |

I still remember her cute face and a warm smile on her face as soon as she saw me. When we are coming or crossing or passing each other, i watched her eyes it really moves like a just born fish. I never forget her in my life. I strongly say that she also loved me. i also loved her but both of us never told to each other and she got married to a guy and i got married to a girl. Even now when she saw me the same thing happen.(cute face, smile and dancing eye) WoW it is really great
