Be thankful that we don't get as much snow as we use to!!
Where else are you able to experience four seasons as great as in Michigan? Living in Michigan enables you to have several interests!!

Fall in Michigan is my favorite... of all the places I've lived, nowhere has a more beautiful Autumn.
At least Michigan is fairly low on the Natural Disasters scale.... thats a plus!  | |

I guess like the old saying goes " MOVE" I have been all over the country and Michigan is strange , but hey it's what I call home now adays , I grew up in NY and at least we knew when the seasons started , here in Michigan I learned to go with the flow, Just wait and see wht tommorrow brings lol | |

Posted: 10/12/2005 3:44:34 PM | Well I know this was started in Jan of this year but for the last couple years now most of us have gotten to experience Michigan's 5th season... I think it's the longest and hardest to put up with too. It has a part of all other seasons in it...
CONSTRUCTION SEASON 
The cold is only bad on a person if they have no one to cuddle with...
OMG WAIT.... right now I have no one to cuddle with.... AHHHHHHHH HELP I NEED A CUDDLE PARTNER SO I DON'T FREEZE TO DEATH IN MICHIGAN THIS WINTER

Posted: 1/22/2009 5:54:41 AM | 2008 sure has felt colder in Michigan, it's been a few years since we've had snow on the ground for such a long time (since Thanksgiving).
But on global warming - people tend to confuse weather with climate. Weather is what happens to us locally, and from year to year. Climate is the larger scale -- the whole world -- and the longer term. Even if 2008 happens to be colder than 2007, it still will rank as the 10th warmest year on record (climatewise). | |

Posted: 1/23/2009 7:00:31 AM | | i'm for sure i didn't see any skiing hills in denver...lol, so a short drive to holly, boyne, etc, will get you up and skiing...michigan might be somewhat freezing in the winter, but there ain't no place like home in the summer...we missed you miss meow...no ones pics can even compare smiley...i think the trick is to stay sober when you're the designated photographer | |

Coupla nurses at work were complaining about their water pipes freezing, but shewwwwww thankfully that has not happened to me yet (crosses fingers and knocks on wood!)!!! And going outside in the wee hours of the morning for smoke breaks ~ holy hell its enough to make me wanna quit smoking!! Uh,,,ALMOST!! lol | |
