| ETOBICOKE/MISSISSAUGA Volleyball night anyone???
Posted: 7/17/2006 1:51:41 PM | I'd like to get a show of hands of people who would be interested in joining me in a volleyball night at Diamond Beach at Centennial Park in the Etobicoke/Mississauga area. I've talked to the owner of the courts about renting the courts and I think he'd be game in letting us play. The beach has a bar and enough seating for about 50 people. Food is also served (hot dogs and burgers) and the bar tenders are really friendly. Only catch is that the courts cost money to rent...so depending on how many people are interested I'd have to charge a nominal fee (about $5/person) for playing that will go DIRECTLY to the owner. Also I'm thinking of doing this early in SEPTEMBER on a weeknight...Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday...One of those three days.
Post your opinion on this thread and if we get enough "ballers" perhaps I'll get something going.

Anyday is good for me except wed nights and the locale is perfect.

Posted: 7/20/2006 12:01:52 AM | Well TAB I'm not moving the vball to the eastend and I'm not sure if I can get a friday...Another buddy of mine runs a league and I think he'll book the courts for his tourneys on friday night...If I can get a lot of people SIGNING UP then I can see about a friday but I need DRAW....So who's going to help me b/c right now we're looking at playing twos.
