How about using this thread to list Festivals & Events coming up in each of our local areas. Maybe we can get together and have a PlentyofFish block party at one of them this spring/summer!

I would love to have a poker party. Anyone game up in Northern Indiana around the South Bend area? Say maybe a bi-weekly thing (I work every other weekend). We could make a whole shabang of it. Anyone interested please post!

Cooler weather is here. How about getting everyonewho's interestead together for a potluck/picnic. This weekend? There has to be a park that will accommodate 40 or 50 people. I'm pretty new to Indiana and live up by Morse Lake. It's got a nice park with disk golf and a playground and of course the lake for fishing, etc. Bathroom facilities as well. There is a clubhouse with glass windows on 3 sides that overlooks the lake ... it's a pretty sweet set up. People rent it for parties.
It might be open for the day.

This Saturday is supposed to be a high of 76 mostly sunny and a 10% chance of rain.
It could be a beautiful thing! LOL

Feel free to contact me with any suggestions as I would love to be in on the planning/coordinating. I just don't know where to have an event like ths? Everyone could bring their fav dish.

It would be a blast!

Greetings!

I have been to that park since the 1970's and it has a fab view of Morse. Great idea, unfortunately I have a wedding to attend out of town on Saturday. If you go for this, be sure and put up a BIG sign so everyone can find you. Ty to get a picnic table on one end, like near the beach.

It gets COLD in November! Then again it is 86 degrees in October. How about a Halloween event at Morse Beach? Costume optional, of course.
