Ever get that out of left field attack?

To the men in the house:

Have you ever had a female friend who says she's not attracte to you, but the minute she sees you with another woman getting close, she either tries to****lock the lady or all of a sudden wanna do everything with you? But when the women aren't around she's back to her "Oh I can't be with you" self?

Lately I've had alot of that this summer, one turned into a real display on a cruise boat.

Or am I just that special? LOL

Apparently you like the drama or you wouldn't be getting involved with women like that!

Yea, it happens. SOME Women are highly competitive, just like gsome of us guys. They are also usually the best drama queens too. She probably likes you, it's not the right time or you are the best option she has right now and until she finds another is not going to let you out, even though you two aren't seeing eachother.

But my buddy jus_desireable.... Don't you know what good wingmen are for!

Ya miss the whole point darling, I'm not involve with any of them - we are friends. I just find it weird how some women act, and how common place it is out there..

Yeah papajay, its a common practice here, lol.. But sometimes your wingmen make it worse cause they wanna stir up the pot lol

Then your friend has a strange definition of "friendship"! I think I would try some invisible fairy dust whenever you see her coming! She's going to totally ruin any chance of romance that you have...

I've had to deal with that.

Since I've found Mai... well, I've had all sorts of odd reactions from female "friends".

I've had some act as if I was cheating on them or something... screaming at me for betraying them.
Um... hello? To my knowledge, we were only ever just friends... did I miss a memo?

Some have actually just calmly told me "Sorry, I was just being your friend because I was hoping to get with you... now that you're taken I'm going to leave".
While I can't admire their character... at least I appreciate the honesty. :p

Some have told me that they're much better for me than her (not bloody likely). And try to convince me to leave her. Like that would ever happen. :p

And then there's some women who have been flirting with me openly, and have made it quite clear that they wanted to get with me (though I wasn't interested). And now that they know I'm committed to Mai... they simply wish me the best. And some have shown themselves to be wonderful friends.

I think everyone reacts differently to these situations.
Some can be happy for you... others want to drive you apart...
And their reasons vary... some want to break you up to steal you away... others just can't stand seeing someone else being so happy... others just think it's a fun challenge. :(

Adam, ya my new friend biy -lol

Those examples and what you said are exactly some of the things I've been going through here. But its frightening cause its like its so unaspected you're totally caught off ya guard with it that ya in almost a shock and numbing feeling od what to do cause these ppl are suppose to be your friends.

Yeah... you think that you know exactly where you stand with someone... that you understand how they think about you... and then you're taken for a loop. :p

The thing is... a lot of the time, when someone's taken, they'll have someone claim to love them... someone who's known them for some time... who could have mentioned their supposed "love" at any time... but always acted like nothing more than a friend.
And it's only when they realize that they can't have the person anymore that they make these statements. Which are usually completely false.
They're lying... though most times they don't even realize it themselves. It's not that they love the person and want to be with them... it's just that they want what someone else has... because they think that will make them happy.

I've known too many people who have found someone... and then been pulled away by someone they've known a long time, now claiming to "love them".
And they leave who they were with to be with this person... who then realizes that they never did truly love them... and things go sour.

I've seen that sort of thing quite often.
I find it kinda cute when a woman does it to me.
When a man does that sort of thing to a woman it's very boorish and low class.

ignore the bitterness some of us women/whoever else will show signs of on your post!

i really feel sorry for some men now days haveing deal with our BS and some women haveing deal with SOME men (NOT ALL MEN) games and playing women, sometimes dateing seems like a "jerry springer" episode but we have to keep in mind that NOT every man/woman is an w_**** or an ***hole.
