I feel more over the loss of my brother than I do the loss of my marriage. Actually my marriage ending is the least painful thing i have ever gone through,

just me though.

Ok. Well. I've never been married. HOWEVER .. my folks have been married for 40 years. So I hope I know a little about what a marriage takes.

I don't know if it's always a tragedy though. I mean. If he or she cheated .. or something like that, I think it's a lesson well learned, and move on. I think the only tragedy would be death. Although. I am 35 and perhaps a bit jaded. :D

I know that with myself, I would not handle being seperated from my husband if he were to choose to leave. I am so totally dependant on him emotionnally! But I'm a tough cookie, i'd survive!

I almost lost my son to a near fatal illness, comming that close to his death cannot compare to a loss of a realtionship. For anyone who has almost lost a child or has lost a child nothing can compare. The second would then be death of a loved one, not your child but a family memeber, spouse, etc. But back to the original question. I have been thru the mill when it comes to romantic heartbreaks, I should be a professional for all I have been through. The saying "what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger" comes to mind. I try to follow that and many other thoughts and sayings. It takes time and motivation and the drive to someday find Mr Right instead of Mr Right now

The closest I've come to losing my son is grabbing him in a parking lot while a car was coming and he was in a hurry to get to MacDonald's Playland...

So the Breakup of my Marriage has been the roughest thing for me so far...

I think ending my marriage is harder on me now 7 years later, as i can look back and see that I had a wonderful beautiful sexy woman,, and looking back if I would have know I would never replace her I would have made a effort

You never think when your a kid i guess
