Come out and join us for a coffee, tea or a cold drink.
A relaxing time, no pressures and great conversations.
Lots of laughter and where great friendships are made.
This is near Bingamen’s if anyone is interested in playing some mini golf etc.
Starts at 7:30 ish @ Tim Horton’s
1000 Victoria St N, Kitchener
(Victoria St.N. between River and Frederick.)
Heading from Kitchener towards Guelph…
Turn right onto Victoria St. from the expressway..
Just past the lights at River Rd. E. and Victoria St. N.
Turn left into Tim’s parking lot.

I have something WE CAN TALK ABOUT ON FRIDAY NIGHT AT COFFEE NIGHT......so you have to come cause you dont want to miss out on all the details....right.....lol (or email me)
I tried to post details about something happening this weekend in a thread but it's was a no-no to post info about an event unless you are hosting a party for it ...so it got deleted. I'm a bad bad girl....we have talked about it before in our coffee night forums and what to do for a next get to together ....listen close I'll give you a hint.....its stock car races at flamboro this weekend with added features the big and little kids will love....saturday is racing plus free rides in the cars for kids (they take an intermission half way through) or sunday is racing plus a demolition derby (following racing).

Posted: 8/2/2006 1:47:21 PM | Woohoo! It's finally posted! Was starting to have a panic attack thinking there might not be a coffee meet this week. After being stuck in the house with 3 brats this week (no a/c) I am definitely looking forward to getting out and spending time with my friends.
Kimmer I hope this weather hasn't been to hard on you. They say it's supposed to cool down sometime soon. Keeping you in my thoughts.
Hope to see a lot of people out. Remember Timmies is air conditioned! lol | |

Posted: 8/3/2006 6:40:51 AM | Hi everyone. Glad to see the posting here. Thanks again Pomik for posting. But I have sad news , I will not be making it this week. I am off for the weekend with my son and his family. I am so tickled pink that I was asked to go along. So with having a 2 yr old grandson, I get a chance to play and be a kid again. Woooo Hooooooo, off to the beach we go. Anyone knowing me, will know that I love to play with the kids by swimming between out spread legs of the wee kids, (without touching them I might add) , so with my young grandson, I will not be able to do that just yet. Oh well, I am sure I will find something else for play time.
Ahhhhhhhh LoveJr.....so glad to see your back. I hope you had a wonderful holiday? If you do not mind, can you email me to let me know what I will be missing out on Friday? And I sure appricate the info about this weekend. I will see what I can do for going this Sunday. I will be home by then. And yes, dear Pomik has been sending your news about it along. Very sweet indeed to have this oppertunity.
Katrina: Ouch with so many kids with no AC.......wow, I can see the moods swinging with all of this heat. I hope things settle down for you.
Firmbear, hopefully soon I will get a chance to meet you. Though I did see you at the BBQ. A bit shy here, but now that I know of you a bit more,,,,,next time I will not be so shy.
Pomik? You have hot dogs? Were they BBQ or boiled heheheeheh. I can see in my mind's eye how your wee 4 legged friends will be going through with all of this. Take care and I will keep in touch with you and the others.

Posted: 8/3/2006 7:06:22 AM | Ive gotten email from a few of you showing interest in going and the consensus seems to be for the Saturday night racing.....which I have to admit has a good lineup of racing that night with late models, thunder cars, F4 Modifieds and mini stocks. Gates open at 5 and racing starts at 6:30 but between 5-6:30 is qualifying laps. The seats fill up quickly so I suggest coming earlier. Saturday is supposed to be a nice day, rain in the forecast for Sunday.
If we agree on Saturday I was thinking of posting it as an official pof get together and draw in some new recruits for our coffee nights....what do you think????
Some things to keep in mind....
- if bringing the kids, then pack some ear plugs or ear muffs.....it gets loud.
- bring something to sit on...those benches get hard after a few hours
- drinks and munchies.....you can bring a SMALL cooler but it will be opened and checked at the gates....no alcohol. There is a concession there with hamburgers, hotdogs, fries, popcorn, ice cream, beer nuts.
- if you like up close action and are the type to slow down and check out accidents.....lol.....then binoculars will be a good idea too.

We are easy to spot because of the pics of us.
