I just got back from taking my daughter to the Ribfest at Victoria Park. It was great. They had the yummiest ribs. It was so hard to choose which vendor to buy them from. Plus, it all goes towards a good cause - the Boy's and Girl's club. I even took my daughter on the Ferris Wheel. Keep in mind that it's been over 10 years since I've been on one. We waited in line for a very long time, finally was able to get on and as the ferris wheel travelled up to let more people in, I suddenly remembered that I'm afraid of heights. I was sitting there, knuckles white from gripping the bar, determined to go through with this as it was my daughter's first time on a ferris wheel when my beloved 5 year old daughter pipes up "Don't worry Mommy. I'll protect you" What a kid.

Has anyone else had a chance to go the Ribfest yet?

Tony Roma's ribs are to die for! Cept I won't go to the ribfest! lol
I find it terribly expensive. But that must be cuz my kids could eat 3 rib orders! Tis a nice evening out for it though. Imagine? A hot date, strolling through the park??? Yeah, yeah.....and here is me on the puter!

Oh heck yeah I better get my butt down to the rib fest !
What is that ontario woman afraid of heights !hahha !
Oh man that must have sucked being told to calm down your safe by your little one !LOL
Yeah them ribs do taste good and hard to choose who's is best. I go by the smell and then how they look as to which ones I will buy . Yeah their over priced but you are giving money to the childerns center as part of that rib price! And whats $12 to $15 bucks for lunch as heck I spend double that at any other fast food joint around for lunch .
