| PoF Success Stories
Posted: 8/10/2006 3:53:56 PM | We all know of a success story or two, there ARE people who find each other using the PoF site.
Do you know someone who is now happily in a relationship that was found on PoF? It may surprise some of the newbies here that there are quite a few stories of success.......
my list starts with......
Oops and Steamer....... we see them daily in the forums.... out to the functions....... truly a couple that belong together.
SessieLouBob and JustPlainDan - we have seen it SLB  JPD. We don't see them as often as we would like, but wish them the best.
Then there are the ones that have found their love and left the site.......
You are all special people and lucky to have found the one for you.
Care to share some success stories?

We met thanks to POF and the many outings. We started months ago just talking with one another at the get togethers and after 4 months of seeing each other at outings, he asked me out on a real date!!! I was thrilled and that thrill is still going strong!! It'll be 15 weeks tomorrow!!!
So for all you newbies, don't be shy, get out with the rest of us and you just never know who you might meet!

After fullfilling my responsibility to the Birds Hill Park Ranch event this chickie will be faiding off into the background.... all the best to everyone on here!
and just to sweeten the pot I got roses at work delivered personally by him, first flowers I have recieved in over 10 years....AND they are beautiful just like him, although he would probably say more like me... | |

Posted: 8/11/2006 10:52:10 AM | Well maybe there's hope after all. It does my "old" heart good to hear the success stories but at (almost) 54 it seems I'm over the hill. Although.......hmmmm........my mother who is 80 goes out dancing on the weekend with her boyfriend, and I sit home alone......what's wrong with THIS picture, I ask. She keeps ignoring her curfew too.....maybe I'm too young and have to be patient.
I'm glad to hear of all the new friendships too - at least as important as finding your soulmate. I'd love to meet you all because you sound like a lot of fun. Got to get my daughter's wedding over with first, and only have a couple weeks to see my son before he takes off again, then, iempty nest syndrome will attack me again...so...if I get up the nerve.........I'll meet you POFers (gulp!)   | |
