Forgotten a loved ones Birthday?

It was my Grandads 75th Birthday today and i have had a call from my mother earlier.. (no not you GG) and she asked me when i posted his card as he never got it........

Now i feel terrible about it, and wont lie and say 'Oh yes its in the post' so i owed up and said Oh Sh1t i forgot....

Im beating myself up about this as hes in a nursing home with Parkinsons and he was looking forward to getting 3 cards off his Grandchildren.. My 2 other sisters never forgot

Im going to go see him after work tomorrow to say im sorry!!

I usually forget my mothers birthday, but this year, the roles reversed between me and my sister and I remembered and she forgot. She got the wonderful reminder as well some time later when she rang and Mum was telling her about me taking her out for a dinner and she asked why I did that, so Mum told her it was for her birthday. Suddenly my sister felt very small as this call was two weeks later!

Usually I'm really good with birthdays. but this year I missed , in order my niece (may) my aunt (may) my sister (june) my mother (june) nearly missed my son's (june) and my brother in law (july)

I've had a lot on my plate this year.

I did remember my dad's though. RIP Dad

I am always forgetting birthdays, I am the worlds worse. But everyone knows what I am like and accepts that it is a mental flaw and that I can do nothing about it!!!

I'm normally good with birthdays but....
I've just started seeing someone new this month, and I know there birthday is near mine but when I was told we had been drinking and I'm not sure if it is the 10th or 12th of November. so crossed fingers I can find out soon.

Tell you the truth, I don't think I've ever remembered one.

Hell, I forget my own half of the time.
