It was my Grandads 75th Birthday today and i have had a call from my mother earlier.. (no not you GG) and she asked me when i posted his card as he never got it........
Now i feel terrible about it, and wont lie and say 'Oh yes its in the post' so i owed up and said Oh Sh1t i forgot....
Im beating myself up about this as hes in a nursing home with Parkinsons and he was looking forward to getting 3 cards off his Grandchildren.. My 2 other sisters never forgot
Im going to go see him after work tomorrow to say im sorry!! | |

| Have you ever? Posted: 8/15/2006 2:29:53 PM | | I usually forget my mothers birthday, but this year, the roles reversed between me and my sister and I remembered and she forgot. She got the wonderful reminder as well some time later when she rang and Mum was telling her about me taking her out for a dinner and she asked why I did that, so Mum told her it was for her birthday. Suddenly my sister felt very small as this call was two weeks later! | |
