| Adding favorites-problem[Closed/Redundant]
Posted: 8/16/2006 11:27:16 PM | | Ive been trying to add a persone who i chat with to my favorties list and everytime i click on add to favorties, it wont show them on it. they said they didnt block me. I can still get their emails, they have added me to thier favorties list, but for some reason they wont show up on mine no matter what i do. HELP!!!!!! | |

Posted: 8/18/2006 8:40:34 AM | I'll understand that switching to Mozilla is a good way to go. However, if you decide to use Internet Explorer favorite. I would suggest you to try the simple following method and see if it works for you.
Click on Favorites button on the menu bar. Favorites sidebar should open up. Simply click and hold the icon infront of the http://forums.plentyoffish.com and drag it over to your designate folder and then release the button. You should see that link in a few seconds.

Posted: 8/18/2006 2:12:41 PM | I've not checked this myself, so for now it's just a guess:
I think someone will only show up on your list if their profile isn't hidden, plus you fit within their specified contact criteria.
The contact criteria is ignored of you're contacted by them first. So, if you'd normally be blocked due to contact criteria, but they contact you first you can reply.

Posted: 8/19/2006 3:37:17 AM | I apolozied. I believed I misleaded you to a different "Favorites." I was referring to the Internet Explorer, not the POF's favorites. I must had a bad day. 
I believed russasaurusRex is right on the topic. I do however think that you may need to look at your "Mail Settings" and see if you happened to block people in either: no drugs, no smoking, and married. | |

Posted: 8/23/2006 11:56:24 PM | | I used to have him on my fav list, but deleted him by mistake. now i am trying to re-add him and its not letting me. his add isnt hidden, he meets all the criteria for getting throught my settings and it still wont show him on it. others have shown up when i add them, just not his. We can even email back and forth on POF so i know he hasnt accidently blocked me. Its very frustrating. | |

Posted: 7/7/2007 9:28:28 AM | I received email notices that 3 people had added me as a favorite but when I checked they weren't there. So I went back to the email I received and clicked on the address that said it would take me to a screen where I could delete myself from the other person's fav-list.
Either that caused the profile to disappear or it never was there in the first place. When I go to see who has me as a favorite, I see only the people that were there before.
My question - is it possible to undelete these people I have accidentally deleted? I can no longer find them using the Search method provided by POF. This sends to the people hooking me a favorite a bad message I didn't really mean. | |
