| UFC 62 COMING SOON Posted: 8/27/2006 8:46:29 AM | as suspected the forrest/stephan fight was booooooring....i don't know why they thought it would be just as good as the first....there was a lot at stake that time...nothing to fight for this time..... | |

| UFC 62 COMING SOON Posted: 8/27/2006 4:50:59 PM | | AS EXPECTED " THE ICEMAN" KNOCKED OUT BABALU. And yah the griffen/bonner fight was about the same boring. from what i read on the UFC site, talks ahve stalled between Pride and Zuffa, so we'll see what happens. I see that Tito and Ken will go again from Florida, and again Ken will get his head beaten in. | |
| UFC 62 COMING SOON Posted: 8/27/2006 5:48:40 PM | tito and ken tito and ken tito and ken.....what's up with ken anyway??....like how many times does he need to be humiliated before he finally gets it??.....sheesh..... | |
| UFC 62 COMING SOON Posted: 8/27/2006 8:03:08 PM | hell yea lidell easily!!!!but yea man you gotta give bonner and griffin props for throwing bombs for 15 mins straight.....wasn't the usual chess graple game but yea griffin is a good fighter now that he know's and understands his style more and the more mixed arts..."they puttin time in" but yea can't wait gonna be a ball......... | |
| UFC 62 COMING SOON Posted: 8/28/2006 6:29:25 AM | | I dont get it usually a 3rd time is done because a rubber match is needed. in this case ken has gotten his ass kicked tewice. whats the need. i really dont see anyone challendging Chuck for awhile. same way with tim silvia, matt hughes, and rich frankiln, in my opinion. | |
| UFC 62 COMING SOON Posted: 8/29/2006 11:29:07 AM | aaaah ken's just pullin' a whiney hissy fit cause they stopped the fight too soon bla bla bla......so he has to TRY to prove himself one more time....*rolls eyes*......some men are just too damn stubborn for their own good... | |
| UFC 62 COMING SOON Posted: 8/30/2006 8:22:53 AM | | i never saw the ortiz/griffin tilt, but i understand that forrest won. if that's the case, i don't see the big deal they're making over ortiz/shamrock: they're both over the hill. as far as i'm concerned, though, lidell can fight 'til he dies. that man has hands that could stop a bulldozer. | |
| UFC 62 COMING SOON Posted: 8/30/2006 8:57:02 AM | Right. Ken v Tito II wasn't stopped too soon. Shamrock's done the same thing in Japan, where he gets his face knocked off, offers no defense, and then kicks up a stink after the stoppage. I just can't believe so many people bought it that Herb Dean is actually taking crap for the decision. Taking half a dozen elbows to the face without even trying to do anything about it isn't intelligent defence. Manufactured controversy resulting in the fight nobody wanted to see again. Sigh.
Forrest v Tito was a bit inconclusive though. A close decision that a lot of people disagreed with, thinking Forrest should have won. They were both fighting injured though, so nothing was really decided. For what it's worth, I think a healthy Tito would mow Griffin down, much as it pains me to say it.
Now, as for the topic at hand, poor Babalu. Chuck Liddell is ... well, annoying, but he's got that division sewn up pretty tight, it must be admitted. The UFC is pretty much out of 205 contenders at this point.
| UFC 62 COMING SOON Posted: 8/30/2006 12:43:33 PM | Ok first off.. Tito is not over the hill. And He will be fighting the iceman for the title in December.
That fight will be good.
Chuck is also slated to fight Silva from pride soon too.
So the Iceman is not out of the woods yet... Not by a long shot.
Franklin will be fighting at UFC 64 and it will be interesting to see if he has fully mentally recovered from his broken hand, as he is mostly a striker and his challenger that night is mostly a striker.
Hughes and Penn will trade bombs at UFC 63, reguardless of who wins GSP will fight the winner prolly before Jan.
The next few months will be interesting!
| UFC 62 COMING SOON Posted: 8/30/2006 7:20:18 PM | tito over the hill??.... ....stop swearing for goodness sakes...sheesh....tito's just coming into his own now....and doing a damn fine job i'd say....oh and by the way alfred, forrest didn't win but should have...
hughes and penn?.... .....something about hughes that just gets under my skin....mind you the gsp and hughes fight should be a good one...i'm rooting for the cute little canadian...hehehe
| UFC 62 COMING SOON Posted: 8/31/2006 12:57:05 PM | One thing I can say about the iceman is that he fights with patients and accuracy and he has one hell of a reach. Is Franklin fight in the next PPV event? | |
