Over the hill?
Posted: 8/21/2006 4:40:52 PM
My darling brother has begun a lovely series of emails to me over the last few days.
So far I've recieved these gems:
In dog years you're...carry the 2...lets see...OMG you're DEAD!!!
You're not 40 something, you're 39.95 plus shipping and handling...plus taxes...plus other hidden fees...plus...
You look damn good for your age....I never knew they could mummify the living.
Let me know when your senior's discount kicks in, I'll give you my shopping list.
Out there in B.C. they got that graduated lisence thing right? with the L for learners and N for new etc...when do you get your S for senior?

Got any good over the hill cracks?

HAHAH THAT reminds me of a card I gave my Dad once,... talked about the beautiful old growth forests in BC and how rare and great they were,...... and thanked him for planting them!

ummm ya472!!

Think I've heard that expression before!! But, it goes like this, "I've got everything a 21 yr old has, I've just had it a hell of a lot longer!

Another favorite of mine is, " I look great upsidedown, everything falls into place! Where it once was!!!

He's on a roll....they're going downhill,

You're only as old as you feel....last time you got felt you were 23 right?
You're 29 with 13 years experience...doncha think it's time to get experience with a different number?
I'm buying you new wheels for your birthday! Do you want a lil basket and racing stripes on your scooter?

so in general, what age does a person become over the hill? 40 for men and 30 for women?

^^^^No.

Way to late for most men and much too soon for most ladies.

Actually over the hill is a state of mind. Some are "over the hill" at 25 and other never become.

I'm really only 21, but I've had a hard life! ...................you're on a plane and look around and realize its nothing but really old people off a cruise ship.........FOSSILS!........they don't really care if the plane goes down or not! Most are near death anyway! Order a double from the stewardess..............may as well go down in a fog ....

Gotta love the other side of the hill!

Way better than the climb through all the obstacles to get to the top!

Now, I am in a 'good' place'.......on a downward descent but a much cleaner, more interesting path!

Do not fear the over the hill stuff..........this side is too much fun!
