| How Old is Too Old? Posted: 8/31/2006 7:20:19 PM | Just a thought, is there a time when you just say, hey, I'm too old for this dating scene?
Or maybe you just run out of bait? I have had men who were 5 or 6 years younger than me whom I e-mailed and they were nice enough to tell me I was too old! They don't know what they are missing! LOL I can't wait until my next birthday, maybe I will be too old then

| How Old is Too Old? Posted: 8/31/2006 7:38:46 PM | Guess it's all relative. Age is supposed to be a number, but I guess if you're asking what age we should stop looking, I don't think there's an answer for that. Everyone is different. I guess we'll all wake up one morning and we'll realize we stopped looking. And that'll be it, no fanfare, no drama. Then we'll go to the store and meet Mr/Ms Right in the Kraft Dinner aisle. I just know that's how it'll happen! Maybe the trick is to stop looking?? Or shop more often?? | |

| How Old is Too Old? Posted: 8/31/2006 7:39:27 PM | | You are never to old to want and have somebody in your life.. | |
|
| How Old is Too Old? Posted: 8/31/2006 7:42:45 PM | I'm 57 years old and I get the same response ... huh!
Guess I'm already too old!
I was also told that women my age are considered "desperate". Gee ... I don't feel "desperate" ...
........ just want a partner like I thought many of the men on here wanted!
How odd that the men at age 55 and older are deciding that women their age are "too old" ...
Hmmmm .... Is that their way of eliminating the ones who could probably still run circles around them?

| How Old is Too Old? Posted: 8/31/2006 9:11:14 PM | How old is too old? When you are dead...
A person is never too old. Just keep looking and sooner or later you will find someone. I was getting very discouraged and quit looking and "poof" I met a woman who is awesome and my perfect woman... So you just have to keep "playing the game" and don't give up...

| How Old is Too Old? Posted: 8/31/2006 9:24:03 PM | as a lamp never outgrows the need to plug into a socket to light up the same holds true for men and women so as long as the lamp works and there is electricity you can never be too old | |

| How Old is Too Old? Posted: 8/31/2006 9:33:26 PM | | Amen folks! We will never be too old to date! I know for myself, I may age physically, but I will always and forever be 21 on the inside! You will see me sittin on the front porch of Shady Pines, in a rocker, beer in one hand, cane in the other goosin alla the young male nursies! I will never give up, for to give up is admitting defeat! | |

| How Old is Too Old? Posted: 8/31/2006 10:19:01 PM | I am 52 and my lady is a few years more. Dating we do and a whole lots of it. Dancing most weekend, camping once a month, we do the beach thing and picnic too. We hold hands in puplic and hugs too...And we kiss like no teenager can.
Actually her daughter is known to tell her (my lady) that we act like teenagers. What? Only teenager can have fun? NOT.

| How Old is Too Old? Posted: 8/31/2006 10:29:37 PM | ...You are never too old to want to hug and kiss and hold hands in public. I was just telling a friend of mine how I miss the spontaneity that goes along with a relationship. just to be able to reach across and push the hair back from his face or to lean over and feel the taste of his lips. To enjoy human contact is timeless.

| How Old is Too Old? Posted: 8/31/2006 10:31:02 PM | ^^^ See that's what I was thinking. And I could really get into that as well ... but some of the guys on here are just so doggone "stuffy"!
I really don't feel old ... last year this time I was out on the roof of my house ... checking it out to see if it needed any attention. How many ladies in their late 50's do that kind of stuff still?

| How Old is Too Old? Posted: 9/1/2006 6:32:45 AM | The sweet Ms. Cotter says:
"I'm 57 years old and I get the same response ... huh!
Guess I'm already too old!"
Cotter is just my age, but alas, she is 1600 miles distant.

| How Old is Too Old? Posted: 9/1/2006 7:00:01 AM | | Doc, I have a feeling that we have something in common. I am seeing a lady who is 3 years older then I am. We hold hands all the time, in public. And I won't tell you the times that people have mentioned how cute we look together. Age...just a number that tells us how much we have seen, not how we feel, need, or want. | |

| How Old is Too Old? Posted: 9/1/2006 7:01:38 AM | | Too old to date, what’s next too old for sex, or to fall in love? I guess there are some people that judge a book by its cover, but I’ve found you really have to open it up and flip though the pages to see if it’s a good read or not. If some of those pages have creases or are well worn, that just makes it more interesting. If the pages are yellowed with age and brittle that just means you have to turn each one more gently and handle the book with care and thought. It’s always upset me when I read an interesting profile and then find the person only wants to meet, date, or talk to people within a certain age group (or any limiting factor for that matter). Why be so shallow? There are so many interesting people in the world, with so many thoughts and ideas. I’ve talked to people all over the world (as most of us do these days) of all races, ages, and backgrounds. It’s fascinating and challenging at times, but always mind expanding. And isn’t that why we’re all really here to learn and to grow and to interact with the world?? | |

| How Old is Too Old? Posted: 9/1/2006 7:24:12 AM | I had a 47-year-old guy tell me he wasn't into "older women." I was 50 at the time. Although when I posted new pics, he changed his mind completely. Age is all relative. I tend to get along better with younger guys probably because my mind is still 30..... | |

| How Old is Too Old? Posted: 9/1/2006 7:39:23 AM | My grandpa got married a couple of years ago... He's 92. So he'd been living with his partner for quite some time, but the romance is still going strong. No such thing as too old... | |
