The only thing is they don't get a lot of action with other ladies because they are too nice. Basically if guys want to get laid a lot, be more aggressive and a jerk. Girls don't want to have sex with the nice guy, they just want to marry them after they've been used by jerks. | |

Now, it's a truism that if you 'want to get laid' then you (usually) have to take the initiative and you (usually) have to have a certain confidence. However, this is surely not the same as being aggressive and being a jerk.
I'm firmly of the view that one can be confident, able to initiate a relationship, be comfortable with women AND be nice; these qualities are not mutually exclusive.
Furthermore, if these 'aggressive jerks' ARE getting laid think how much more they'd get if they were just a little bit nicer and more respectful.

I got dates easily enough but when I started off too nice or brought flowers I never saw them again. I eventually gave up trying to be nice and just acted like I could take the woman or leave her. I rarely called back the next day, or I waited until she called me. I wouldn't contact her for days and the women seemed to be more interested. I was treated better and got more return dates after I developed an attitude of disinterest. Women seem to want what they can't have and if it is too easy, you're no longer of interest to them. | |

I think alot of people call themselves nice guys but when there true colors come out it can prove to be otherwise. I think I'm a preaty nice guy but I dont have problems getting laid when I'm with a woman I care about. The fact is some people even jerks are just affraid to seal the deal becuase they ar scared of rejection. Trust me if you try and sleep with a woman your with and she dosnt want to she will let you know. Just remember to look for those hints, and you'll never get to the point that will happen you'll know what to do. | |

I've seen some men talk with pretty lady,they are allright,but as soon as a good looking man with very good matters talk with them,they seem to have a good talk with them,i seen some of my friends who are guy,and very good looking,and they give there number,and get there number,but you have to meet half way for something to happen..
You can't just give them all the compelments,you have to have some good laughs with the lady too.

Unfortunately, the ladies are shootin' themselves in the foot by not appreciating a small token like that. Of course, it was BEFORE the date...so I guess I can understand how flowers right at the beginning would be off-putting, however, you're being a "Traditionalist" so it was nice.
I heard of a situation where a man and a woman went out on a date, actually had a GREAT time, laughed, had alot in common, even agreed to go out with him again, she even told her friends "Hey, I met this great guy, etc"
She's working in her office, and flowers show up at her desk, it was from the guy she went out with, it was one of those , "I had a great time" token of his appreciation. She never called him again.
Wow, I guess here heart didn't melt, because it wasn't made out of ice...but probably stone. :P | |

From my experience, the girls that go for that approach don't have much more to offer than sex anyway. Once you figure out that lifestyle isn't really what it's cracked up to be, you might not get as much "action", but when you do get it, it usually comes bundled with a whole lot more woman than just a good time. | |

Posted: 3/16/2005 10:03:43 PM | 'nice' can pass for a lot of thigns... i think nice guys are the best! actually, it takes some time and experience to really appreciate them, it's like a good wine to the conoisseur... even if u start off by being drawn to them, eventually we all shoot off course and meet a real jerk, then when that is over, u come back with even more appreciation, and u go ' omg, this is so much better!'
but it depends what u call 'nice'... i've seen both men and women call themselves 'nice' when they r actually acting more like doormats, putting always the other people's needs and desires over their own... a friend of mine, who had lost over 20,000 to a woman i had told him repeatedly not to send any more money to, was complaining to me one day how he got used and heartbroken this bad because he is 'too nice'... i told him not to mistake being nice for being stupid... u cross that line when u give more than is emotionally or financially safe for u and go into a negative sum of give and take... it was not his 'nice'ness that got him close to bankrupcy, rather his inability to stop being nice when he was not appreciated, and also to stop trying to make thigns work with someone who just didn't give a d*mn about what he wanted or needed.
nice guys are sweet, and yes, they do bring flowers and all that, thank u god! and yes, we DO appreciate that a LOT, because it shows the man actually took some time to think about us and plan something sweet to please us! it goes both ways, u know? it is a give and take situation... when it becomes only give or only take, that's when u know it ain't right...
there has to be balance, u know... in everything :) | |

Maybe its a confidence thing. When guys care what a woman thinks, we get less confidant and women pickup on that.
When guys don't care, confidence isn't really affected, so women pick that up as well.
