| | No jobs in Newfoudland?Page 1 of 1 | I just came back from a site visit in a small town in Northern BC for a job offer. I met so many people from all over the Maritimes and was quick to understand why they were all leaving. There’s more 1 ton Diesel pickup truck in that small town of 20,000 than in this entire province! It smells money everywhere you go! MacDonald’s and Tim Horton compete for the same 15 years olds offering then 12$ an hour! However, it’s the Oilfields that pay real good! Room and Bored, transportation ect… No one work for less that 20.00$ an hour. I don’t mean the skilled trades that makes 40.00$ an up but the no experienced labor! As long as you can walk, they’ll hire you! As for housing, it’s a problem to find one. But, it’s not that bad. 1 bedroom go for 650.00$ but it may take a few weeks to get one.
Should you be sick of liking employer’s ass for a job here! By all means, leave! They’ll kiss yours up there! Anyone who like to know more, please message me and I’ll help out if I can. Good luck to all! | |
