I freaked at 29....but then found out that 30 is not so bad....I don't think I'll do that badly with 30-33.....but I'm not sure how I'll react to 34+....

I have a g/f that's 36 and she looks great, one that's 40 and she's a hottie too! I never would have guessed their ages...the only real difference between us is that they seem to have it more "together" than I do.....

I too, am afraid of getting older..I don't "feel" older, and since I always get carded at the club, I have in the past, considered lying about my age....but have since reclaimed it, and am proud to own it.

I have to admit that in the past, I've always dated younger men...I've always been afraid to date anyone older than myself!!!! lol!!

The Paleolithic, or Old Stone Age.

And only because the Internet was REALLY slow.

I am having a meltdown over 40. And I do mean meltdown.

I'll be 40 in 7 months---and I am freaking out. I know its only a number, and I know that you're only as old as you feel....but, the number itself is enough to make me freak.

I am very youthful looking...I can very easily pass for late 20's early 30's...I haven't one wrinkle on my face (I always joke that I'm gonna stay BBW so that I don't get wrinkles on my face once I loose weight there...ha ha ha) and despite being overweight, I am quite healthy. So, what do I have to worry about, you say? lol...I'll be 40 in 7 months.

Never had a problem turning any other age ever.

Hmmm, I freaked over my 28th birthday. A friend made an innocuous comment about something my kids were doing and I freaked. It actually caused about six months of angst - the longest I have ever dwelt on anything....lol.

Since then it's been all clear sailing. Of course, nowadays, I have trouble remembering exactly how old I am. I don't feel, act or think anywhere near my age - well except on a cold morning, then I know for sure that the body is way past old.

30 is bothering me so far, just because I'm noticing a lot of contact restrictions with women in their 20's that set the ceiling at 29 :p

Well, you're only as old as the person you feel. So date young. Or something. :p

I don't think its the age that is freaky to me, I think its the fact that my life isn't what I expected it to be at this age, and the fact that I am alone , unmarried and turning 35, it makes you think that you may be this way forever...lol..

that's kinda what is bugging me the most...otherwise I get told I look younger than I am and a active and goofy short shit. But back in school had dreams and I never did them. Instead got married at a young age...never had my dream for college...was going to be a lawyer, have horses and own a house and be married forever. Instead didn't go to college, have kids I wouldn't trade for the world...been married twice...drive a pos car and rent a house. I laughed at my friend when he broke out in hives for turning 50 saying he hadnt anything to show for his life. I guess that's what bugs me the most..almost 39 and nothing to show for it but my kids.

At this point I haven't freaked at turning any age.

When I turned 30 I wasn't freaked as much as I was wondering what had happened to the past 10 years.....I strolled down memory lane thinking of all the things I figured by 30 I would have accomplished. Some I had.....some I hadn't, but such is life.

I am going to be 35 this year and although I am aware of the lines showing through and the other changes this body is going through.....gravity being in what it is.....*lol* I just figure I have earned each and everyone of those changes and they add character to who I am and what I am made of.

30, but after I got past it, I didn't think about my age too much. I have more older friends, so I never thought of myself as old

27 and 28 were real struggles for me because men reach their physical peak around 27. Although I have fallen off a bit recently, I am an avid runner. And to try to keep up with my times and distances became increasingly taxing. That's when I first started to feel old. Now I can feel my sex drive starting to wane ***sigh***

I started freaking about a month before I turned 30... 2 months after 30 I realized I didn't become a hag overnight and started asking myself WTF I was thinking back then lol

Now I am 33, and realize that in 7 years I'll be 40.
7 years is NOTHING and it flies by, and I'm still single.
But funny enough, just before turning 33 I relaxed and realized that if I'm still single (and unloved lol) at 40, I'll be ok. Besides, I dont' look too bad for my age.

I just wish the 19 and 20 year olds stopped bugging me :o)
