How do you think the team will do this season? Why is it everytime that they get a star player...his career is cut short by freak accidents/injury etc.? Very frustrating as a fan. Do you think that they can play without Priest holmes in the line up and win football games?

tough division. they finish out of the playoffs. with denver and san diego getting in. if they were in the nfc they would probably play in the super bowl.

yay, i didnt even have to make the thread! How are they gonna do? hopefully well. Personally i think they will come up a bit short, maybe 7th or hit the 6th. With Willie Roaf out, L.J might have some trouble getting through. Still they will have a great and a better defensive season.

go Chiefs!

They looked awful in the pre-season. Damn I'm just not a fan of Herman Edwards. I don't think he's gonna improve this team at all. I know its just the pre-season but Trent ain't gonna get any better. Larry Johnson can't carry this team and they're in such a brutal division I don't think they have much of a chance this year. :(

ive got 8 Kansas City hats lol. I buy them right when they come out here. I just bought their new one today. i know i sound like a loser...but fack off! lol LJ can carry and if some surprising wide reciever comes out of the dark, trent can post big numbers. All the Defense has to do, is place within the top 12 in the NFL

trent is a good QB. he gets the job done. what people dont know about him is that since hes came to KC, hes 2nd to Manning in passing yards. As well he has thrown for 4 straight season of 4,000 + yards. he might not be as mobile, but he definitly knows what hes doing. Cant blame him or the offense on them losing 6 games last year...i think we all know who lost thoes games for them :P

Trent Green is out indefinitely. A questionable hit....but that is football. Bottom line...the Chiefs don't have a starting QB now. Who will start next week now? And the beat goes on...

Its said that he just has some big headaches. questionable against broncos, but i wouldnt rule him out. Huard didnt do so bad, so i'm still looking forward to them plaing against the Broncos. As long as Denver lost today...i'm fine with the Chiefs lost.

Some stuff i wasn't pleased with was LJ playing time. herman edwards gaves him chances, but giving him the ball a bit more...he would of eventually broke for a big one.

Although, Herman did play the clock very well, he gave the defense plenty of time to rest and the right calls were made. The ternovers were the difference and the team will only get better.

well...they are 0 and 2 now...losing to Denver. Funny how the football schedule is...they are 1 loss from being out of it...can they win 12 out of the next 14? Hockey season is starting when...in 3 weeks? Go Leafs Go!

^^^ not with how the AFC is playing. 1-3 losses...especially this early..you are done.

hate to say it, but my chiefs are near dead. I hope the week off gives them time to learn how to play Offense again.

Its a long season and anything can happen so its too early to say that KC is out of it. But an 0-2 start certainly makes things tougher and they certainly can't afford many more losses.

But having said that, if Green can't come back....and soon! Then I think you can stick a fork in em

I can't believe it but the Bye week came at a damn good time. They got some rest, they get to play at home, and they get the 49ners...they loose here...seasons over And i know im tough with my team but if they don't score 30+ im not gonna be happy. A champion will dominate the easier and developing team. If the Chiefs scratch away with a 3 point win, there is plenty to worry about, even though a win is good enough.

I enjoyed every snap in that game lol perfect game. and where did that Defense come from...im not used to seeing such good D for once...usually is a shootout at arrowhead...this sunday it was a one team shootout. Last time the Chiefs played the Cardinals they won 49-0 lol lets do it again!!
