| COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON Posted: 9/9/2006 7:22:10 AM | | Oh i remember when the Cornhuskers put fear in peoples eye's. Same can be said for my Wolverines. | |
|
| COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON Posted: 9/10/2006 1:52:06 AM | | yep, in a couple of diff decades they were the best team, back to back nationals, undefeated for 2 and half years. and you got that right Michigan always seems to be a contender in the Big Ten, is Shembechler( prob didnt spell that right) still coach. Things has changed a great deal. No longer the Big 8 conf, and now this new rating system has screwed up more than one national champ game due to shitty rankings. | |
|
| COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON Posted: 9/10/2006 7:31:52 PM | Mmmmmmm, Baseballstar is a Wolverine fan eh, must be a little nervous about next week's game against the Irish! Bwahahahahaa! | |
|
| COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON Posted: 9/11/2006 6:28:35 AM | Long time Florida Gator fan....even played football with their QB Jessie Palmer up here in Ottawa.
One of the best rivalries out there is Florida vs FSU. Was better with Spurrier and his ego many years ago. | |
|
| COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON Posted: 9/11/2006 12:11:05 PM | | I have a special place in my heart for Nebraska, after we smacked them in the '91 Citrus Bowl, and picked up half a National Championship, along with Colo(we'll need 5 downs)rado | |

|
| COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON Posted: 9/19/2006 12:55:28 PM | | How the F is West Virginia ranked ahead of Michigan after UofM's last win? West Virginia hasn't even played a ranked team. And they won't for awhile. They are going to screw this up in the end for whoever is up for BCS nods. | |

I really hope I'm wrong about Rich Rodriguez. I have a bad feeling that he's going to turn Michigan into Purdue.
I think you may be right.
He did great things for us here in WV but his offense isn't the great new thing any more and his bully tactics and ego are a real problem. I'm grateful that he elevated WVU from spoiler to bonafide top ten status but suspect he peaked during his time here and Michigan will not get their money's worth for paying over half of the buyout clause on his WVU contract.
It will be very interesting to see how WVU does this year under our new coach. We've got most of the offense back plus some promising new receivers and by all accounts an improved defense. We'll miss Owen Schmidt. Pat White and Noel Devine should provide plenty of explosiveness.
We've now reached the point where any loss is a major disappointment but I expect someone will trip us up at some point. I doubt we'll see a meltdown like the Pitt game again, though.
It should be a fun ride.

| COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON Posted: 8/6/2008 8:26:18 PM | | I'm looking forward to another good season for Mizzou this year(hopefully). Maybe this year we can finally get over the hump and beat OU. | |
|
| COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON Posted: 8/7/2008 4:20:35 PM | | Im a Hog fan, butMizzou did us plumb ugly in last yrs bowl game. We stunk and Mizzou was brilliant. We had the top running back in the nation and Mizzou made him look like a Jr. High 2nd stringer. Hats off to Mizzou, they did a brilliant job last season. | |
