| If you could interview God what would you ask him? Posted: 9/14/2006 2:47:04 PM | God is available 24 hours a day for eternity. He should have time for an interview.
If you could interview God what would you ask him?
I will start with two questions that I would like to ask:
1. What surprises you most about mankind 2. As a parent of mankind what are some of life’s lessons you would want your children to learn

I would ask if he actually inspired the Bible, and directly fathered Jesus to die for the sinner's redemption. If the Bible is historicly acurate... and how did he come into being.
I am sure with more thought I would have a laundry list of questions to ask.

I'd ask why they are born to parents who don't want them, and the ones that do want them can't have them. I'd ask why he allows child abusers and rapists to live...and ruin someone's life.....but one day we will know everything about everything and won't have to ask Him anything.

What was the hardest decision you ever had to make regarding us?

Posted: 9/14/2006 8:37:30 PM | I would ask if my thoughts on who I am are correct, what was the meaning to my existance, who and why am I who I am, as well as if my thoughts on some believes are correct, and if not, am I going to hell for it. ...I'd probaly also try to squeeze in something about guardian angels.

And if so, what events in the other realm(s) could disrupt the local continuum and in what way would it be disrupted?

Only thing I've came up with is because we need the fear and avoidance of death to motivate us to actually do something in this universe. Who knows, maybe I just got the answer. So, I'll think of another one.
How come people are sooooo phucking stupid? And why is it not against the laws of the universe to keep them away from the freaking white house?

| If you could interview God what would you ask him? Posted: 9/14/2006 11:18:16 PM | My questions would be,...
Why did you put me in this sh*t hole anyway?
What is your real name? (if its Allah) I'd openly join Satans rebellion, I'm not remotely kidding that one either.
I'm so pissed off at god, for so many reasons, I belive he exists; but my faith in him is not what it was....
Oh well,........I'm going to hell. What kind of sedistic god would create Hell, and claim he a god of love. Oh I'm already feeling the fire, it burns my ass. My last question should be"can I get out of hell free card?"

There needed to be balance....like the chinese yin and yang...no darkness without light, no light without darkness. You need both good and evil, we even have night and day...God and his angels produce the good side while Lucifer and the demons balance it out with the evil, and us humans get the joy of being stuck in the middle, naturally neutral and with the capacity to lean more one way or the other on the good and evil scale.
Thats what I truly believe anyways. Nothing is coincidence, everything happens for a reason.

| Agreed nothing is coincidence Posted: 9/15/2006 5:51:22 PM | I would ask if it saddens him that mankind has made great strides in science and technolog but we cannot live at peace with one another.
Secondly I would thank him for the gaurdian angels out there.

While this question has already been pondered before it is the act of opening your heart and answering which can be different for every soul and gives all of us a fresh chance to challenge our beliefs and help awaken our awareness to the I AM, the "still small voice" within.
Peace | |

Only one that comes to mind that he didn't deal with is, why life has to kill life to live.
I know this is OT but I'd like to take a stab at answering this one:
God, as been show, has to operate within the rules he himself sets. He can't suddenly turn a rock into a golem. ( a rock creature that moves by magic) This is evident from the flood. He had to get it to rain down rather then suddenly filling up. Now he does have the power to input his own energy into the system in the manner he sees fit. However he can't change the rules to say that an organism doesn't require energy to live. As the organism got more and more complex more and more energy was required to keep it alive. To make matters worse, they multiply. The problem of supply comes into effect. If everything was say... a plant then the plants would eventually become overpopulated and exaust the natural resources of the planet. In order to maintain the system balance, something must keep the populations from getting out of control. A balance as it were. To quote Mufasa in "The Lion King"
Mufasa: Everything you see exists together in a delicate balance. As king, you need to understand that balance and respect all the creatures, from the crawling ant to the leaping antelope.
Simba: But dad, don't we eat the antelope?
Mufasa: Yes, Simba, but let me explain. When we die, our bodies become the grass, and the antelope eat the grass. And so we are all connected in the great Circle of Life.
That's why life must kill life to survive.

"Why?"
I would hope that there would be enough time for Him to explain.
No, this is not meant as a funny question either... I would be quite serious....

It starts with prayer, faith and meditation. Practice of this and study opens revelations to us.
Look how many of us have said a prayer for God to send us someone to be in our lives as a partner for our lives? How many has he sent to you only to pick them apart and reject them without knowing who they are? God does not look at the outside of a person like we do. He looks at the HEART of a person and will send us the one we ask for. ~most will judge them by their outward looks~We say "OH LORD! Send me a man/woman to me for my life!" Then he does and we reject them.
But! This is the rub...if you are not living in Gods will, you will not know the one he sends you. You will still be picking the one chosen by your OWN will... And we wonder why we have the the wrong people keep entering our lives???
Fellowship and study is the only way to learn how to live and find the answers we all look for. The right time will present to you, in the answers you seek.
Got a Q for God? Pray about it and study.

| If you could interview God what would you ask him? Posted: 10/27/2006 9:23:03 PM | Best Kept Secret Very interesting perspective you have on this question. Will have to do some thinking about what I have done in the past ,when he might have "sent" me someone.
What I am about to say is not Bibical, just personal expierience. More times than I can remember, I have asked God in prayer a question, looked in the Bible and have found an answer pertaining to my question. Perhaps all the answers to this exam called life, is there for us to read and see?
Maybe, because it is not we are looking for though, we dont see the answer in front of us?
For sure, there has been times in my life, because " my heart was not right", that this has occured to me.
Thankyou. | |
