I like any man who is uniquely interesting and special, one of a kind who catches my attention.....where he's from isn't important.

For me, I really don't give two flying slippers where a guy is from, so long as we "click". It's his personality I'm interested in, not where he's from. I don't "prefer" men over others simply because of the country they live in.

The most physically beautiful man I ever dated was from Capri ~ stunning. He spoke the most beautiful languages I've ever heard.

Posted: 9/26/2006 10:06:27 PM | I'm not french from France, I'm good ol French-Canadian (perfectly bilingual though so no accent either way) A few years back I had a bit of a fling with a girl from pennsylvania. I though she was pretty into me as the night went on. But the moment she found out I could speak it, I barely got out a full sentence and she practically jumped on top of me. So from my accounts I do think that American girls fancy french men.

It's likely you could be the rudest person on the planet, but pepper conversations with sugar and chocolate and I suddenly couldn't care less about personality, as I'm too busy feeling like a giddy schoolgirl.

| Do American girls really fancy French guys??? Posted: 9/27/2006 6:33:57 AM | | Nah..sorry. I'll stick to american men. I have a really driven, concentrated work ethic (yes..I know..workaholic but that's me) and France's economy, minimum standard of work week hours, and how much their people rely on the government for most things leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth, therefore I am guilty of stereotyping the French Man as being lazy and having no aspirations in life other than his next glass of wine and cigarette. Besides, every european man I've met over the years has had terrible body odor. I love a manly man, but a clean smelling one, thank you very much! | |

I do have to tell you OP, that I like Vienna better. What a beautiful and wonderful city you are experiencing.
That said, my true preference in men would be those tall cowboys with the deep voices from the great American West.

So Rachel, tell me what does this do for you??
L'Ohio est une terre des porcs irritables de chocolat, et les femmes qui feraient mieux pour laver des plats en sucre puis feignent pour savoir ce qu'est l'amour
And yes I can say it with a french accent. I will leave someone else to translate it for you.
Have fun ;)! | |

| Do American girls really fancy French guys??? Posted: 9/27/2006 12:03:05 PM | I've met some nice French men who were just nifty in my day, but I don't have a preference for them over anyone else. It's not about where you're from, it's about what kind of person you are.
That being said, when I was in London recently I went to a restaurant where my waiter was a French guy. He sort of looked like the singer Keith Urban, and listening to him talk was just faaaaaabulous. Hehe. When I asked him what the best dessert on their menu was he said "chocolat fondant" and I nearly fell out of my chair. Baha.

Ohio is a ground of the irritable chocolate pigs, and the women who would make better to wash dishes sweetens some then pretend to know what is the love??????

The person I quoted said, no matter what was said, or how rude, so long as it was in a french accent and mentioned sugar and chocolate, she would swoon.
Call me curious
Have fun ;)! | |

The bouncing, manic smilies, on the other hand.... those are a dealbreaker. I'm sorry, but our brief love affair is now over. It's not you it's m... no... it's you.
