| why is it that white men tend to like skinny, white women?
Posted: 10/1/2006 12:04:19 PM | Maybe it has to do with who were media starlets when we were teenagers...in my case that would be cheryl lad, a skinny white chick. In the words of steve martin, "After all the time I spent holding your poster up with one hand...!"
Maybe we are looking for women who look like our mothers did when they were young...
Since white women tend to be skinnier, that's what white men like. Or maybe I have the chicken before the egg...maybe white women are skinny because that's what their men want.

Am white (last time I checked) and HATE skinny girls. A woman body has curves (K.Zeta Jones curves...mmmmhhh), and it's NORMAL and HEALTHY (ok if it is only ONE HUGE curve...forget it). | |

Posted: 10/1/2006 3:04:08 PM | I like skinny white women, curvy hispanic girls, asian girls with long hair, european girls with accents, black girls with nice figures, I've even seen canadian girls that I would like to get to know, and if someone falls into other groups I probably like them or someone with similar ethnic backgrounds. Really I guess I just like girls That I find attractive, atractive girls come in many different forms. Are you wondering what it is specificly that I like about skinny white women, or are you (like the other posters seem to have inferred) trying to say that is all I like?
For me I don't neccasarily like a women because she is skinny and white a girl can be too skinny just as she can be too big. Even if she is "just the right size" I may still not like her. There are so many factors that make a girl atractive that just picking one detail and trying to find girls with just that thing going for them sounds crazy... | |

I don't know that "most" men of any one race or ethnicity prefer one type of woman over another. Women come in all sorts of delicious packages with the most wonderful of wrappings that are just tremendous fun to gaze upon. The only problem is this nice outside sometimes hides a frightful inner "prize" that should never be let loose on polite society.
Why do young women only go for young men? Why do tall women only go for taller men? Why do "curvy" girls wonder about things like race and such? Do white skinny girls wonder the same things??
Oh, the myriad permutations of such questions!! Hell, why do men even like any women? Well, excluding those who don't like men that is!! LOL | |

Posted: 10/1/2006 4:22:15 PM | A quick search will tell you that a lot of skinny white guys like fuller-figured women, and the infamous term, bbw's. :) So... thankfully there's enough fans of each size and shape to go around... especially for the pear-shaped women! :) lol If you've got it, there's a wife spectrum of men who want it, including skinny white men. :)

Posted: 10/1/2006 8:46:22 PM | confession: I like to feel dominant, I've been with bigger girls and it just feels weird because I'm smaller than them... I do martial arts, work out, the whole shebang, but I'm still only 170lbs. I guess I've just had the whole generic couple ideal shown to me so often that that's what i want, and in that ideal, the girl's smaller than the guy :P
Also, there's two things I've noticed, as generalizations in bigger girls. One, a lot of them have low self esteem and it's really frustrating to deal with someone who jsut can never trust that you actually find them attractive. Two, a lot of them use the guilt card as an excuse to be lazy... They don't work out, don't watch their diets, and sometimes their houses are disaster areas :p Although I will grant that the skinniest girl I dated was also the messiest, haha
Just generalizations though, there's a lot of exceptions, thus why I've dated a few bigger girls. | |

Posted: 10/1/2006 9:16:19 PM | | as a BBW i know for a fact there are men of all sizes that love BBW'S and a lot are the smaller build...i've read on here about how some prefer the barbie type over the BBW type and thats fine..we all are different and have different likes and dislikes...i for one don't care about the build,to me its whats inside that counts and wins me over not what their body size is or whatever...looks and body sizes does not make the person who they are...its the heart...being the BBW that i am i have had to deal with guys and gals for that matter being rude and saying really mean things because of my size and to the ones that think we don't have feelings your mistaken...seems some have the impression because we're BBW'S we can't function or be sexy but believe it or not we can and are...i have noticed that their aren't many BBW'S or big men on this site or i just haven't run across em yet but as a BBW if someone doesn't take time to know someone because of their size or color then speaking for myself,i could care less about knowing them either...guess i have said enough,just had to put my 2 cents worth in... | |

We tend to be attracted to people who resemble those of the opposite (or same if you are homosexual) sex to which we were exposed to when we were young. Not necessarily all of them, but mainly to those who we felt connected to the best. In many cases that means family members such as mother or dad, aunts, uncles, older brothers or sisters. For others of us, it could mean a friend if our family members were cold to us. For me it was a friend of my older sister, who was, you guessed it, skinny with long straight hair. For my friend, it's chubby women with short curly hair, who resemble....his mom when she was young. Or it might be your kindergarten teacher, nanny, or babysitter. So it's not always who you think it was that triggers attraction. | |

I really think the whole question is centered around you only having a limited amount of exposure to a limited number of guys. Maybe you wanted us non-cookie cutter guys to pop out of the wood work and reassure you that we don't care what our ladies look like.
I am a big guy, I can be gentle enough to transplant seedlings, and tough enough to move the railroad ties into my garden. The size of the lady does not matter. Or her skin color, or her hair color. | |

Guys like what they like. I find the older they are the more mature thier tastes become. Its not all about a perfect body when they are older than 30ish...as they get older they have more exposure to lots of great girls...they expect women to be built like women...not teen agers (and 19 to them is still a teen lol) | |

But if they are obese you bet it turns me off....take care of yourself somewhat gals.
Maybe skip that second dozen donuts from Timmy's today, and donate that $5 to unicef to feed a starving child....you sure as hell do NOT need it.

"Why do all black women...."
I wish people who generalize in their topics would instead point to a specific person because everyone is far too different to generalize so often. | |
