Posted: 10/1/2006 3:04:25 PM | I have a supposed ex (sure, I believe it) crystal meth head next door. Not positive of the sex. Have called cops for screaming & bodies hitting my walls. Knocks all my miniatures down regularly so I finally took shelf down. Cranks up AC/DC then jumps up & down like an ape. Truly delightful. "Her" name is April - a true ray of sunshine!  | |

Posted: 2/3/2008 1:05:20 PM | You might approach the other folks in the neighborhood and all could sign a kind letter suggesting the neighbour is not being very neighbourly. I used a similar tactic with a neighbour who was creating problems for the rest of us. Problem was solved.
Express concern for his well being, perhaps an illness or other factors contribute to his behaviour?
Maybe he is lonely and needs company and he has been unable to find a more suitable way to interact with people.
Mail it to him.
PS. Whatever you do, don't suggest he join POF!

Idiot upstairs has a freaking game going thru surround sound day and night......tweedle dee and her friends across the hall have no concept of noise and courtesy.
Yeah, I haven't done a darn thing about it......just cuss them out and fantasize about moving.........(I just wait for the other neighbours to complain).
I have no suggestions for dealing with the nazi neighbour......or speeding up the karmic wheel......(I thought there was a voodoo specialist on this site?? No??) | |

Posted: 2/3/2008 2:58:05 PM | The RCMP informed me a few years back that my neighbour had a grow op .....so???....well they wanted to know if they could move into my vacant basement suite to monitor the guy... oh yeah!!!!! like I want to get involved with gangsters and drug dealers?... I don't think so.
If he has a grow op why the hell you telling me?... do something about it.
They wanted me to keep a record of cars that would come and go....right!... what the hell are we paying you to do ?
btw..same neighbour now has Cancer and has a license to grow his own...Oy Vey!... | |

Posted: 2/3/2008 4:03:32 PM | My landlords fight like cats and dogs with their son; Christmas Day at 3 am it sounded like they threw someone down the stairs. They were screaming and yelling and swearing. Did I mention I was sleeping in the living room where I can hear everything from their foyer? Did I also mention I had to work at 8 am on Christmas Day? Ya, that sucked. They fight almost weekly and it's always with the young son. He's a whiny kid (He's like 30 or something lol).
The people who live in the basement suite behind mine (it's a huge house) have a baby that's over a year old and SCREAMS at the top of his lungs ALL the time. They're frequently up at 3 or 4 a.m. and slamming the microwave door. Oh yea, and my bedroom is on the other side of the wall from their kitchen.. and the head of my bed is against that wall - so I hear everything from their kitchen. They've got no sense of 'quiet'. The woman just lets the kid scream his bloody head off in the kitchen for hours on end.
*sigh* Other than that, I don't have it so bad. | |

Posted: 2/3/2008 5:09:51 PM | | For mb728, buy the guy flowers and attach a card without your name on it of course telling him that he is such a nice person to be so concerned about the neighbourhood, ensuring that you and others who live in the vicinity has parking so close to your homes, wished we all had our dream jobs but have to settle for now for the one we have, as for when I do it, usually first thing in the morning with my natural BM, could be after coffee, (one never knows how body functions after late night of rock n' roll music), as for the kids, sorry electric collar on the blizt but am looking into replacements, and for the last but not least....(sob) had to flush roomates goldfish down toilet today, hope the noise was not too much, it died cause I put it on a quiet diet, and because it took me 1 hour to find a parking spot, after watching my neighboour and his wife do it in the car with AC/DC Thunderstruck on full blast just to drown out the noisy neighbourhood kids from hearing each other scream at the top of their lungs, if forgot to feed the damn fish. | |

I think they do a fair amount of gossiping so I am careful about what I say to them. I am fortunate because I live in a very quiet neighbourhood and probably one of the safest in the city, but when you say this type of thing the next thing you know all hell breaks lose. | |

Oh oh! The building has been condemned and is slated for demolition and everybody got their eviction notice and moved out... and your notice got lost in the mail. Wrecking crew will be there in the morning.
Kidding aside, you are fortunate to live in such a quiet apartment.

I'm probably the loud one anyhow, calling my lil critters back in the house!
I kaiboshed (?) my one nosey neighbor from being my new "best friend" as soon as I moved in. He was here daily at first! | |

I live on the corner lot...where the freakin hell do you want me to park?....I have 3 kids...why do I have to park on the other block and can't park in front of my house?
go buy a freakin shovel and clear the front of your place out. I don't have a carport or garage...and you do!
and...for my neighbours who let their dog poop on my yard....cross the road...there is a 6 block square greenbelt.....let Fido go across the street from my house in the greenbelt..... I got kids...when it snows...they play out in the snow....the same snow that has your dogshit underneath it.!!!!!!!!!
