However, if a profile says practically nothing, or is practically a novel I won't bother replying to it. I like to know what I'm getting into, but the "life story" should be saved for drinks or dinner. | |

If you end up imagining what someone looks like and you talk for a long time and then you meet that person... usually they look incredibly different that what you pictured in your mind... not unattractive mind you, but why would you want a potential friend, or more, not know what you look like? Back to the question... if I like their profile I would ask them to send a picture... if they were really cool and didn't have a picture I would probably chat for a while to see what they were about. | |

for me its about the energy the person gives off. But I am not afriad to ask for a discription .. I even will ask about their teeth..
(nice healthy mouth and teeth are important... no rotten teeth or chronic bad breath...ewwww.....)

Posted: 2/24/2007 6:57:58 PM | I do want to add one thing that I like about PoF as far as pictures go. On the last dating site I was on (aka "a waste of money") too many pictures were not of the woman's face but their breasts and...that other area. Guess I had the wrong idea when it said "adult dating site". Live and learn. Even here you get the occasional default pic that is of the chest area (but clothed, this time). That's a turn-off for me. I want to see your face as well as your body. The face is often the first thing I notice on a woman. The best bod on the planet can come with a face that has no life in it, or just not attractive. Some girls that other guys wouldn't look at because they aren't built like a Playboy centerfold I've found rather attractive in part because of their face, how it looks and the persona it radiates. Maybe I'm just wired different.
Show me the face first ladies, then show off your...other assets if you feel you must. | |
