Looking for some constructive profile reviews. I've put a bit of effort into my profile and just want to see if there's anywhere people think I can really improve it.
Oh and I've heard a few say the dream date thing should go but honestly that's just a part of who I am. It will happen one day for the right girl. ;) I also think it shows my creative and romantic side which doesn't come out anywhere else in my profile that I see.

Love the NAME
The pics were the HOOK - hey nature, extreme sports, adrenalin, wolves! (sigh) and confidence.
Ok this HAS to be a Canadian. Checks. YEP!
What I had seen so far was enough to get me reading more.
I found it to be well expressed, well laid out, and a pretty good indication of your average globe trotting travel bug adrenalin junkie.
Anyone who has done this will relate immediately! Right down to getting back and getting funded again for the next round (I just got back)
Your romantic helicopter flight is NOT over the top for anyone who is used to travel, fun and spontaneity. She'll love it! And you have justified by saying THAT is for the ONE so you dont look like some gushy fool sprouting silly words and dangling unrealistic bait for suckers.
An average party girl might not like it....but from what you have described of the woman you are seeking......she will!

I think if a girl is too lazy to read my way less than a full page or writing profile then she's probably not the one for me anyway. I personally read everything about a person I'm interested in contacting and don't really contact a girl if she's got less than five lines or writeup about herself.

I don't think the first date thing is too over the top....what is wrong with being a romantic? Too bad there wasn't a few more of you out there!!

OK, as personally requested, an honest profile review.
First off... overall your profile is an A! So any comments are meant for tweaking... making a good thing even better.
I sense a great intellect... I'd like to see a line or two that shows your brainy side to dispel the "law enforcement is all brawn" myth.
Photo - need a closer pic of your face and without sunglasses... we women love eyes... purrrrr
This sentence: "When I'm not exploring the world. Playing computer games." Could do with a little edit... In between insert info on other out of the house activities you do (dancing, friends,??) Right now it reads like one extreme or the other(adventure or homebody).
Take out the being picky part we all are picky but How about a "not willing to settle" type of phrase here instead. Less negative connotations.
Gosh, that's it... and the rabbit? Yes, keep with the bonus points... as the other ladies have said this will weed out the nitwits.

Posted: 10/17/2006 7:54:52 PM | Heh, ok guess I'll add in the geeky hobbies I do which should dispel some of the all braun no brains myth and what gets me out of the house... I wanted to leave the uber geek stuff out until the second date after I hook'em lol.
Will change picky to will not settle, I agree sounds less negative and still gets the message across.
I am horribly unphotogenic. The camera doesn't like me for some reason. I chose those photos out of hundreds (literally.. hundreds). Maybe it's just my quest for the perfection in everything I do. lol. But I will try to get a better face shot without glasses or hat or etc.
I also got a personal email profile review from a woman in North Carolina *waves to new friend from NC*... she commented that my profile might be intimidating women away from contact. I asked her what she meant and got a great compliment out of it but here's the quote :
"Intimidating as in you are the whole package. Manly man. Smart, strong, handsome, witty, humanitarian, adventurous...how's that for off the top of my head?"
Great ego boost for me... but what's your guys opinion on that? Maybe that might explain some things... I thought that some of my lack of luck with meeting a girl who matches me was that I wasn't "good enough" or "cool enough" or charming, witty, funny... etc. To hear the opposite was just something I never really expected.
Thank you for the honest review, going to go change those few things. :)

Posted: 10/17/2006 8:23:47 PM | AAhhhhhh....this is so far the most decent profile from a guy I have ever seen in here. Very very good start, you will find your catch soon. Just one thing to remind you I know you are very into nature and adventure, and you are not going to comprimise on that. Of course which is good for you. I am a total city girl so when I look on your list I was like "wow...wow...wooo...do I know any girl can achieve that much?" It may narrow down a little bit your choice. But then, you are here to look for the best for you, so be patient and the best will arrive.
All the things I can comment are already being pointed out by other reviewers. Like the picky part or the photo part. Except that, everything looks very cool to me.
Your first date, very interesting. This is something we can call it real romantic. Not like "going to cafe and talk" or "have a walk down the beach". You make an effort to put details and explain what you think of is real romantic and yes your effort will make your wish granted very soon.

Your profile should be pinned for the rest of the guys as a reference for those who dosen't know how to write.

Posted: 10/18/2006 4:49:44 PM | Ok so I updated even more... *tweak tweak boing!* Got a suggestion from another thread that the "Dream Date" may be construed as a first date... but it was from a guy and I give more credit to girls for reading between the lines.
None-the-less I did clean it up to make it even more apparent that the dream date is NOT for the first date... I am not exactly made of money and if I went on 3 first dates that included limo's, helicopter flights, and 5 star catered service on a mountain top I would be working off that debt for the rest of my life lol.
Now if only a cutie local girl would read my profile lol. | |

Last time I was in the 'peg I went to the Fort waaaayyyy out there (I forget if that is upper or lower...)... Can just picture you in some cute outfit marching around out there...
And now that I'm back at home and able to view your profile on a screen bigger than my mobile phone's... I'd say crop your head out of the pic on the rock by the river/water... if that's unphotogenic then your bunny isn't cute...
Only last suggestion for uber-uber-tweaking: "I just want a "real" and honest girl if such a thing exists anymore."
IF??? Darn right she does... she might be reading it right now... take out that negativity!!! With a profile like that she's bound to find you!
