Posted: 10/12/2006 2:54:42 PM | Today I added the ability for users to send flowers to each other onto the site in the USA and Canada.
Here is how it works.
1. You can click the send flowers link on someones profile and it takes you to growerflowers were you can pick the flowers you want to send. Once there you fill out the order and give your personalized message.
2. Once the order has been submitted, Plentyoffish AKA me automatically sends an email to the reciever telling them a user has sent them flowers. The receiver follows the link they receive and fill out their address information. Once the receiver submits their address info the flowers show up in a day or 2!.
3. At no point in time will the sender or receiver get access to each others personal information such as phone, address, name etc.
Hope you all like it, I thought this would be cooler then sending lame "virtual" gifts like other sites do. :) | |

What if the expected recipient does not WANT the flowers? (meaning they choose not to enter their info when asked for it) Is the sender still going to be charged for them? | |

Where it says firstname and ID where you enter your billing info... I will get them to change firstname to POF username.
This information should be auto filled in though. | |
