I'm new here and I see that some of you recently had a get together.
I'm wondering if there are any other folks in the London and surrounding area that would be interested in another get together.
I'll be honest, I'm painfully shy when meeting new folks so I'm not too sure how fond I am of meeting at a dance or a bar. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
So does anyone have any suggestions for something we could all do in a bit more quiet of an enviroment. I would like to avoid a loud bar if possible.
I would really like to get to know some new folks, make some friends and maybe more and I'm sure I'm not alone in this.
So what do you all think?
Any suggestions of things we could do?
What type of activities might be fun to do as a gang?

Posted: 3/22/2005 5:42:33 PM | Im not very shy hon,,,But I do like to meet new people and have a good time. Ill be there, I'll have to ponder the shy thing for a bit. I guess going to the mall and hotwiring cars for a demo derby is out. As is building the countrys largest potato cannon. Though its my personal favoret. We could speed walk down Dundas Street. But I don't know anybody who sells speed.
Golf would be a bast,,, and its not against the law. Plus you get to have a threesome and drive a cart. Hellooooo!!!
How Canadian can you get. It is the land of the Beaver.

I have to say its been soo long since I've been on a singles adventure I am brushing cobwebs away.
But what the heck, I can't stay an old maid forever....
So what other type of things do folks out there like.
I have to say a house party would be cool but .... I don't have the room.
Cosmic bowling might be different but then... would anyone really wanna do this?
Perhaps all meeting at Springbank for a BBQ.....
So come on... any suggestions? I'll gladly help arrange something if folks are interested. | |

I went naked bungee jumping in Nanaimo On Vancouvern Island a few years back. Just watch where they tie the rope. What a blast that was, It was valentines day and If you go naked its free. Hey Im cheap.

pokers not too bad of an idea but where the heck would we do it?
Would anyone be interested in an event, such as Medevial Times dinner (if we had such a thing here?)
I am truly a moron when it comes to dating so let me know.
Also does anyone in London or the surrounding area have room to host a get together?
I saw someone mention having a nice big roasty fire at their house.
I'm up for just about anything as long as it doesn't require me wearing a bathingsuit or streaking naked through the park.
Does anyone know of any cool events that are coming up that we could all meet at? | |
