How do u tell if someone likes u? heres the truth. I like some girl at work but I didn't like her at 1st because I found her to be snotty but for some reason shes starting to say hi to me alot now and smiles and says hi in kinda hot way if u know what I mean...
I don't know if shes single but how do u really tell if someone likes you? I can't tell if shes just being friendly I don't even know if she had a boyfriend or not and sometimes its so embarassing for me to ask out someone in high hopes they like me and find out they were just being nice and then losing that niceness.

Posted: 10/24/2006 7:57:50 AM | Hmm ..thats a tough call. It reminded me of my personality though. I will sometimes greet my employees as they come into the store. With a big ..GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE! and a big smile. I do it to tease them a bit because they usually come in with that whole "ugh I wish I was somewhere else" face. I sometimes have the same face but I always want to remind them that it's not that bad. They usually laugh ..or on occasion grumble and it's a great way to know what sort of mood people are in. I would never consider it hitting on them or showing interest.
I would show interest much more in a way of hanging out and smiling and trying to talk to you all the time. At least that is how I show interest. I have also noticed that if I'm really interested I'm usually showing the wrong signals because I get really shy and nervous which just ends up looking bad. DOH!
I also ...have to vote with the others ..tread carefully when it comes to a work relationship ....not always a good idea! | |

Posted: 10/24/2006 12:50:17 PM | Girls & guys can be really friendly at work because they usually feel the safety net that they won't be asked out. Besides, flirty personalities at work is what makes work interesting...even if you aren't able to date them.
Personally, I would never date a guy that I work with unless I was willing or ready to quit my job. He would have to be that worthwhile. I've seen messy stuff at the workplace between other co-workers. (Insane jealousy...gossip...personal life being hung out to dry). Hanging out is cool, but dating and relationships is a whole different ballgame. | |

Work should be work... even if its been a million years since you've dated, the work date thing is something you'll regret.
Typically, girls will laugh lots, twirl their hair, find excuses to see you around. Body language.. watch it, learn it... use it. If she copies your body language, she's usually game.

I don't care how hot a guy is he's never worth my job...unless you hate the place anyway. Second if you not sure about how she feels or the boyfriend factor...Throw a party and invite a few peeps from work including her. That way you aren't singling her out and making things at work a potential problem. If she shows up with a boyfriend, than you just avoided getting beat up for tryen to pick up on someone elses girl. If all goes well she shows up by herself or with a few friends and you have the oppertunity to get to know her without worries of a sexual harrasment suit..Spelling? Posted: 11/3/2006 4:47:58 AM | As a woman with much dating experience, I have learned that it's best to be direct when I like someone. Here are some of the things that I do when I like someone :
- Ask them out on a date
- Tell them that I like them and would like to ask them on a 2nd date
- Always make a point to strike up an interesting conversation....or give off a flirtatious comment
- Laugh and touch him " accidentally " on the arm, or shoulders
- When I talk to them, I look at them dead straight in the eyes, with usually a flirtatious smirk and say things like, " You know, I find you very attractive..." ( then go for the kill )
I mean, these are VERY OBVIOUS SIGNS...any man who can't read them may have to get his prescription checked...or basically have his perception skills tuned up. | |
