Posted: 10/26/2006 8:42:32 AM | like i was mentioning the other thread "why do men run away?" why is it that when women get hurt/heart broken by men that they turn into psychotic people and start trashing the men's personal items like this woman

however yes she was doing it because of her husband cheating on her it still doesn't give her the right to go and destroy his items that by the look of it, they were very expensive items that she probably didn't pay for. I also heard stories about my friend's ex's throwing there tv's and stuff out the window just because of a break up....jeez grow up, act your age, and move on...don't throw a hissy fit or get ur panties all in a twist because of it...he doesn't like you, there's the door now move.

Posted: 10/26/2006 10:12:19 AM | | well, i can confess, i've gone a bit nutty once...nothing like breaking things, going to their house, etc. just written a few too many emails at them in my anger, confusion, hurt and my need to go through a grieving process. I did it because it made me feel better, completely selfish reasons, but i felt better for the release afterwards. Maybe that's what it is about, people need an emotional release and, for me, my release always comes through writing, for others it comes with violence, revenge, drinking, talking with friends whatever...i think mine is fairly harmless all considering, and it doesn't happen every time, just this one particular man, but that's how upset i was. We all have our methods of dealing with things, patterns of behaviour and some, unfortunately, are more destructive than others. And this isn't just a female thing, I've seen men do the same thing and handle things their way and sometimes they can be really ''stupid'' as well, in the eyes of the other person. | |

Posted: 10/26/2006 10:34:48 AM | hmmmmm. I've never broken anything or defaced property of anyone during any kind of a "breakup". However, I DID have my ex-husband try to kick in the front of the tv one night in a drunken rage. Lucky he was drunk and had a lousy sense of balance and missed.
I was even nice and let him stay in the house after the divorce papers were filed, until he could find a place to live. Of course I don't think I'd ever do that again.
I also have a friend who is currently trying to separate herself and her children from an abusive, drug-using husband. He told her that she'll be six feet under before he'll ever let her get a divorce. And the police took pictures of the bruising on her neck from his hands.
So.....she doesn't like him. Why can't HE seem to find the door?
It works both ways, Awd4evr. It's not just women. Both parties have their equal share of psychos. =) | |

there is absolutely nothing wrong about sending letters...i was just meaning on the level of destroying property and things like that...and for pinkwinecats i wasn't refering to any of this happening to myself so please don't judge me by my age, i only date women who are intelligent, mature, confident and so on...i do not like the girls who think they're all that and a bag of chips or "look at me i'm a princess" that's not for me. | |

I did write a long post to this but deleted it because this is a endless war subject between guys and girls. Just remember if you broke up with someone for whatever reason and you begin saying all sorts of bad things about them yet you stayed with them for a period of time, then its your dumbass that accepted it and stayed with them while all the alleged bad things happened. I am a ex cop and when I was a cop and had to deal with a couple that just broke up, 99% of what they told me was a bold face lie. So both guys and girls do stupid stuff and lie to protect their image and make their ex look like trash. Its life so get over it. As they say all is fair in love and war. Sorry if this upset anyone with this post. | |
