| Concerts - MCR in Milwaukee to be exact Posted: 11/17/2006 10:16:30 AM | I (in my infinite quest to never grow up) have agreed to take my youngest daughter to the MCR show in Milwaukee on the 18th of December;
anyone else going? I like some of their music, but there are three bands playing, and I'm afraid that I'm going to have to spend most of my time sipping club soda in the bar area of the Riverside.
I'm just looking for another parent that has lost their mind and agreed to this, so I'll have at least one person to talk to in the crowd of teenysomethings and twentysomethings...

| Concerts - MCR in Milwaukee to be exact Posted: 11/30/2006 3:54:58 PM | I bought the tickets today; it's actually the 13th at the Riverside; thy are called My Chemical Romance, but my kid calls em MCR, so if I wanna be cool, well you know; I still haven't found one grownup to sit thru this with me.
Ugh.
The things we do for our children.

| Concerts - MCR in Milwaukee to be exact Posted: 12/8/2006 7:25:16 AM | Update on my dilemma:
My 18 year old has agreed to go with the younger one; woo hoo! Now I can drop them off, do Christmas shopping and then pick them up; do you think that's okay? I mean, the Riverside is a fairly nice and safe place, as long as they don't leave the building till I get there, it should be okay, right?
My prayers have been answered....

I just wanted to say I have never in all my put togethers seen so many kids with black hair, overdone eyeliner and pins in their faces.
It looked like a Hot Topic Employee reunion.
Of all the employees Hot Topic ever had.
Sweartagod.
The kid was happy, though, and that's what matters.
To her, I'm the coolest mom that ever lived.
This week, anyway.
