I've been flashed and it's just so unexpected that you are kind of stunned and taken aback. I mean, some guy stops you on the street and asks you for the time. You look at your watch and he opens his coat so you can see that he is exposing himself. What the heck do you say to that? I didn't say anything to him because the whole thing struck me as really funny and I got the giggles.

| flashers and peeping toms? whats up with them... Posted: 5/22/2007 5:37:48 AM | It's not so funny when you see a face at you open bedroom window! Scared the BEEGEEBEES out of me. !! Turned out it was a friend staying at the next door neighbor's, returning home after a few beers and got the wrong house. I woke the neighborhood up with my car alarm and the fact that I was screaming out on my back deck. I scared the "peeper" to the point he almost had a heart attack on my back lawn. Once all was said and done and the cops left, I had a stiff drink and a good laugh. But just as food for thought ...the cops said that stalkers often start as peepers and escalate form there. So although I won out ...not all are so lucky!! | |

I hope you're not calling *ME* trailer trash?
Jeepgurl, read msg. 6, you'll get it then, lol. That was funny TT, way funny
I'm all for women flashing me, but the guys that do that have to have some real problem. Just point to 'it' and start laughing out loud, I mean real LOUD. Or carry a loaded rubberband gun and 'shoot' it, lol, might not stop him but bet it would hurt, ouch.

| flashers and peeping toms? whats up with them... Posted: 5/22/2007 8:50:12 AM | I had a guy that lived across the steet from me that would come and ring my doorbell then run back across the street and masterbate in his window so I'd see him!! Then one day my ex was going to work and caught him naked in the backyard!! We called the cops and when they went to his house he was still naked!! Fool!!!! I had to go to court to press charges on him!! He was a serial peeper and had been caught many times - I had no choice but to go to court - it was court ordered - they wanted him behind bars for a bit!! So yeah what is with Peeping Toms!?!? | |

A few years back i cought him peeping in on me when i was changing. His house was rate next to mine. Kind of scared me but excited me at the sametime; i remember i wet my panties at the sametime. It really doenst bother me anyways. I mean everyone has their thing, that is his thing. I think he is harmless so im really not worried

| flashers and peeping toms? whats up with them... Posted: 6/9/2007 7:07:36 AM | The threads seem to have concentrated on men flashing, and not women. There is a big difference in attitude between the two. As someone pointed out, men know that women don't like seeing a****being waved at them, so they do it to shock them. it's some form of compensation because they can't cope with women normally.
On the other hand, women know that men love to steal a peep up their skirts or down their fronts, and there is nothing wrong with them doing that. It's nice to be appreciated I freely admit that I have an exhibitionist tendency. I know it's wrong and that adds to the excitement. in this hot weather, I often go without my thong. Not only does it feel great, but I get a kick out of entertaining men with the odd up-skirt glimpse. After all we are both enjoying ourself. I don't do it at work of course and have a pair of panties to put on when get there. I love going to the nearby park with a book and a drink and watch as a few lads gather round at a discreet distance to see what's under the short skirt . They get a shock when they get a glimpse of bum and ****. I do get chatted up sometimes by the braver ones. So folks . Am I sick and depraved like the male flashers ?

| flashers and peeping toms? whats up with them... Posted: 6/9/2007 7:36:27 AM | I guess you are not running around and shaking your "ass..ets" to shock and terrify little old ladies, like the classic flasher does. And with most peepers ,they are doing it without our consent, so they startle us when we find that we have been watched unawares and in an unguarded fashion.
What you are doing is flaunting your "god given attributes" with your full consent. Men are "visual" creatures. Just be careful that one of them doesn't get run over while he's trying to catch a peek....reckless endagerment and all that.
On a serious note..."you can look but not touch"... is not always conveyed by a look that you give a person. That casual interplay might just be taken up by somone who now has a stronger attraction than you may be aware of. That is how stalkers / rapists often pick there victim...they simply "take notice of them" . With your "commando and short skirts" and "overtly busty bust", you might be playing with more fire than you expected to!

| flashers and peeping toms? whats up with them... Posted: 6/9/2007 7:47:02 AM | hi Kikit Thanks. Yes, there is always a risk, and I am careful, I assure you. I loved your quip about "reckless endangerment " I have been accused of a lot of things, but that's a new one But I am sure a lot of car collisions have come from men looking at short skirts ! | |

Usually flashing is a form of sexual assault, a breeching of another's boundaries. But in this case I wonder if he was just calibrating his personal sun dial.

| flashers and peeping toms? whats up with them... Posted: 6/10/2007 8:11:39 AM | I'm an exhibitionist but also a firm believer in a woman's right to choose what she sees and when she sees it. Anyone who is willing to break the law and violate a woman's rights has a clear psychological problem, wheather they choose to blame it on "society's puritanism" or not.
In my sexual behavior course we learned that flashers are flashers because at an early point in life they had an experience involving nudity that shaped the way they developed sexually. For example a boy getting caught naked in his room. And as someone said, yes, its the shocked reaction that gets him off. If you act naturally he dosent get his kick.
Some will instantly start masturbating as you run for safety. '
Theres all kinds of wierd paraphilias out there. My favorite is people who get off rubbing against strangers in public. They especially enjoy the subway, since everyone is so crowded around they can do casually. Keep that in mind on the way to work monday morning

| flashers and peeping toms? whats up with them... Posted: 6/10/2007 9:13:43 AM | | I was a producer of this talk show in south west Florida, and the host did a show on flashers. We even had a shrink and a convicted flasher come in and talk about those things. The flasher said it is an addiction just like any other addiction out there. Something I found interesting is that after the guy would flash he always felt bad, and he even knew that it was wrong while he was doing it, he just couldnt help it because he was addicted to it. Hope that shed some light on the situation. | |

| flashers and peeping toms? whats up with them... Posted: 6/10/2007 11:50:35 AM | Two of my ex-girlfriends were flashed on the subway over the years. It evidently is fairly common in NY. That was before the ubiquitous camera phone, which has been the best defense against that sort of behavior, because one of them was able to show a cop at the next stop and they busted the guy right there.
Does unintentional count?
I went as William Wallace for Halloween 2 years ago and inadvertently showed the crown jewels (and then some) to half the party goers when I slipped on a spilled drink.

If he's been made aware of his 'wardrobe malfunction' and continues with said behavior?
