I'm from the Oswego area. I used to DJ singles dances back in the early-mid 90's.Too bad there aren't as many of those as there used to be. Oddly enough what singles dances I have found in the area lately seem to be frequented by alot of couples! Kind of defeats the purpose of it. | |

There are people around the central new york area on this site, but few seem to answer your emails or put the effort into really meeting. I'd like to meet someone, even just as a friend, to catch events, dinner or movies with. I guess, as with all sites, you just have to try it out and hopefully sometime you might meet someone, or form new friendships. | |

I love life, & its short, & I'm up for meeting folks in the area...Possible folks from surrounding areas would be interested too, Updtate NY is a big place, & Syracuse is centarlly located, & accessible, with plenty of good places to meet.

A friend I and would drive out from Utica, others have also said they were interested in this group gathering. It would take some pressure off the first date. And, I wouldn't mind meeting friends with similar interests as well as potentional dates.
Has anyone been to the Country Club in Dewitt? It has social rooms and gathering areas that would be great (if it's still open).
Maybe we should just pick a Saturday night (for those that would have to travel) and invite those we've been chatting with. Before you know it, this could be a rather large group. | |
