| New York Museums Posted: 11/27/2006 1:37:34 PM | Yay I can finally post!
My fave is the Museum of Moving Image, not only do they show you precisely how Gumby was made but the 1st floor has an area of just video games from the late 80s and early 90s that visitors can play. Woo.
And sorry but I wouldn't take you, nothing personal, just I was hoping no one said museum of natural history and they did (I LOATHE that place with a passion!)

| New York Museums Posted: 12/5/2006 7:23:59 PM | The brooklyn museum currently has a showing of annie lobovitz's work I think. She is great.
My favorite is Metropolitan Museum of Art. I love the Stained Glass Garden, the Medieval area with the suits of armor and the wooden horses with their armor too. Amazing they could do such thing 600 years ago and this stuff survived. I have to of course mention the Egypt section that is amazing too. You could spend days and days in that place.
Natural History/Rose Science center is also extremely cool too.
The Museum of the City of NY is also pretty cool.
I agree with the guy above me .. that young lady looks like great company for a museum outing.
Enjoy! | |

| New York Museums Posted: 12/5/2006 8:13:30 PM | hi..you didn't say NYC, so I'm voting for the Strong Museum in Rochester, now called, It hink the Museum of Play. It's great even for us grown up kids. Lots of exhibits which are hands on. I love the retrospective of toys through the years. It's kind of fun to be the "weatherman" on the TV show and also have Kermit the frog sitting next to you when you look into the TV viewer in another exhibit. Their special exhibits are interesting as well. Upstairs is one of the largest antique doll collections in the nation.
The same town has a great Museum of Science and Technology (I think it's called). One exhibit you were in a simulated sub under the waters of Lake Erie. Again, very hands on and fun for all ages.
