Sexy - choose clothing that highlights your best features. These might be a little more form-fitting than the baggy jeans & oversize hoodies of the gansta crowd. Buy the best quality you can afford.
Clean - keep yourself well groomed & fresh, good hygiene is always sexy. Going to a decent hair stylist doesn't mean you're slipping into Metro hell.
Sharp - pay attention to detail (the basics of male attire apply to all styles), clothes that go well together & integrate into a co-ordinated 'look' capture the eye. You don't have to pick a defining category like 'preppy' but thoughtfulness shows & the girls know that is likely to carry over to other areas of your life.
Bonus points: a LITTLE bit of weirdness or flash to your look can make you stand out from the crowd, just don't overdo it by making it the focal point. | |

The best thing for you to do is to go try stuff on and see what you like. But if you are not sure what looks best, bring a female friend or two (who seem to have a great sense of style) and let them help you. But always make sure you are comfortable with what you are wearing, not only physically, but also that you feel that what you are wearing presents who YOU are. Don't buy something just because mags or your friends tell you it's cool. Buy something because you love how it feels when you wear it and you feel it's a true expression of who you are!

Posted: 11/28/2006 9:14:17 AM | If you are a little bit colour blind, as many men are (can't tell blue green from a green with blue tones etc) get a female friend to help with colour coordination.
You're young, you're good looking, so have fun when you shop and don't go for the all black look since you have dark hair (can't see your eye colour). Maybe have the barber give your eyebrows a bit of shaping.
Look like an adult who is well groomed but not over-the-top in the style department because -you wouldn't want to look like you're more into youself than anyone else, and you'll succeed.
