They call you fifteen times a day just to ask "whatcha doin'" "whatcha up to" "where are ya" "how ya doin".
They have to be reassured no less than seventy thousands times a day that you do indeed enjoy their company, you find them attractive, and you like them.
They think the idea of alone time is for suckers and anyone in a relationship should want to be with thier partner 24/7/365.
I could go on and on. These are the guys I attract. Kill me now. | |

I had one of those things on my back for an ENTIRE DAY.. and nobody told me until I was eating dinner with my ex, and the waiter informed me, lol.. She had a good laugh
Let's see, clingy is knowing someone for <1 month, and wanting to be with them 24/7, thinking of them 24/7. Calling more than 5 times a day, emailing every hour to tell them what happened in the past hour, mostly "I thought about you"
Has no friends, so s/he wants to be with you all the time..
Borderline stalking/obsession, I guess. A lot of warning signs: Used to be in an abusive relationship, possibly overweight, no social life/never goes out with friends, negative outlook on life (You will be her/his "savior" that turns their life around)
I try to stay away from these people, unless their wicked cute, and obsess/stalk in a cute way, lol.. | |

Posted: 11/28/2006 9:19:13 AM | Clingy is like when you come out of the bathroom with a peice of toilet paper stuck to your shoe and trailing behind you for all the world to see. Somewhat embarrassing, and undesirable (unless you're drunk).
Needy is like trying to watch a 2 hour Docudrama on a Pay TV in an airport waiting lounge (do they still have those things?) and have to keep feeding quarters into it every 10 mins. Somewhat costly, and undesireable (unless you're drunk).

I just ended something, with a Klingon. Great great guy. But unfortunatly, I couldn't handle the constant phone calls when he knew I was busy, him trying to make me feel guilty for having plans that didn't involve him, and the list goes on.
The straw that broke the camels back... when my brother came back from the Army for Thanksgiving weekend. He is leaving for Iraq in 2 weeks for 18 months. Obviously I would be spending all weekend visiting him and my family. But the Klingon asked me to come home early to go out. Told him nope, he said that he felt like less of a priority. Sorry buddy, at that point, NO ONE came before my brother! | |
