This is a free Party!!! There is no Cover Charge!!!!
Activities: DJ and lighted Dance Floor, Pool Tables, Dart Boards (Bring your own Darts), Full Service Bar.

After the great success of our first get together we are planning a second one. It is going to be held at Sidelines in Brunswick again. The attendees of the first party indicated that they would like to come back again before the new year. So here's your chance if you missed the first one.
Directions: Take Route 71 North or South to the Rt. 303 (Brunswick Exit). Take Rt. 303 West to Rt. 42 (Pearl Road). Make a right (North) onto Pearl Road. Sidelines is on the right past the Batting Cages.

Smoking Update: We are going to make the Party Room downstairs NO SMOKING! If anyone wishes to smoke they may go upstairs to the Bar. Of course this will probably change to No Smoking in the entire place for future parties. Please post your opinions about not smoking downstairs below!

Will be the most exciting event of the year!
Our first annual "FREE" Single's Pre New Year's Party in the Cleveland/Akron area. Many of us have been home all alone for many New Year's. (I have for 13 years!) So happy/thrilled Mr. Irishman has found such a wonderful location. Our own private party room on a Saturday night Almost impossible to find. Don't have to compete with regular customers. I just got on SR 303, headed west to Brunswick. Was like a fun roller coaster ride. We don't need a date to attend. Great need for single activities!
Everyone is still talking about last Saturday night. Over "100" singles attended. Ladies, the men showed up...looking for "YOU"! Management can't do enough for us! Even welcomed us on their marquee! Parking attendents on hand, well lite parking lot. Management is providing a disc jockey! Remember the magic word 'FREE". Could meet a new friend to enjoy New Year's with.
The Irishman needs 'YOUR" help to spread the word. Please mention the event in 'YOUR' profile. Have some FREE time? At random, in your inbox, where photo profiles listed, send out some invitations to singles within an hour distance from Brunswick. Many singles don't know about the forums! Promise, they will thank you for it Have a blog/myspace? Please list the event, Belong to another personal ad site? Means the men are inviting the ladies. The ladies are inviting the men. I sent out hundreds and hundreds! I used this system. Feel it helped last Sat.
Know will be the talk of Northeast Ohio! Let the Irishman know how much you "appreciate" his efforts..by helping him spread the word! I am guessing will have around "300" signing up. Please mingle and greet other singles. Let them know..you are so glad they attended. Well, I got windy again. Just beating the drums..to give some hints how you can help. This is 'YOUR" event. Please spread the word!

Posted: 12/8/2006 9:51:23 AM | Kim, ...met you at Rav's last July. Was so much fun seeing you again last Sat. Plus, can't leave out Rich. Heard on the news..they will not enforce the new law till June sometime. Someone came up with a lawsuit, at the last minute.
But, must say the smoke at Rav's, last July, was awful! Could have cut it with a knife. Was hoping in the Spring..holding some functions at Rav's, again. Would be an alternate night the Irishman would have his, in Brunswick. We would have Cleveland SouthWest Suburbs (Brunswick) plus Cleveland SouthEast Suburbs (Twinsburg) covered. Just thinking out loud.

Posted: 12/9/2006 8:51:56 PM | went to a concert in brunswick tonight. passed sidelines, looks like a GREAT location! easy access from anywhere. all of you mansfield/ashland fishies, i was there from west salem in 40 minutes.looks like plenty of parking. not too far from steak and shake for those who aren't ready to go home after the party. not too far from christies for you men

One women wrote me saying that she was not into the bar scene. I understand people's apprehension to coming to one of these things.
I thought that most people felt pretty comfortable and safe at our last party. Lots of people drinking soft drinks or water. I thought that with the high ceilings help control the smoke there. I haven't had a chance to talk to the owner about his new policy on smoking. I guess
I felt this was a little different than just going to a bar by yourself. We tried to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. | |

I didn't consider we were in a bar. We are in a "party banquet room".The Irishiman is providing us a "safe environment". We don't have to share the facilities with regular customers. We don't have to guess who is a fishie. We ALL are! Attending a single event, most singles arrive alone. A lady has no fear to arrive alone. Plus, what is going to make this event "Magic" ...going to have a disc jockey, who; hopefully, will play requests, have a few ladies choices, plus help loosen up the crowd. Would appreciate the music not too blaring, so we can chat. Why we come..to meet and greet! Your family of PoF'ers, from all over Northeast Ohio, are waiting to meet YOU! If nothing else, to people watch!
Don't be left out! Sign up! Why? There maybe someone from your area, who many contact you about car pooling? A thought! | |

Posted: 12/10/2006 11:51:19 AM | Hope you will allow me two posts! Why? Something "fantastic" happened with PoF, last evening. Mr. Big Fish..was on television!
We made nationwide news! I about fell out of my chair, watching a taping of "AMERICA'S MOST WANTED"! One of my favorite shows.
Our favorite main man "MR. BIG FISH", was a complete hero! What a handsome young man. Plenty of Fish was televised. Guess some young man, (20's) murdered some people, in Arkansas. They showed his photo a previous show. A young lady from Maine, saw his photo. She met him from our PoF. She immediately contacted "America's Most Wanted". They contacted our hero, Mr. Big Fish. He gave out the information to capture this man. Hurray for Mr. Big Fish!
If you discovered PoF, because of the tv show...welcome to PoF. Hope you will attend "The Irishman's" fun event. Please don't judge us from a rotten apple, being among us. The show gave us instant nationwide coverage. Will bring in thousands of new singles.

Posted: 12/17/2006 3:47:48 AM | Okay the DJ is definitely being provided by the owner of Sidelines so there will be plenty of music and dancing. I was told the DJ is in his Forties so I am sure he will provide a good mix of music. I forgot to check about the smoking. I will call him back and find out.
