| Ok, ladies, long hair, or short? Posted: 3/31/2005 3:56:49 PM | I grow a decent fro every winter (need it for 12 hour night shifts on the mountain) to help keep me warm. I usualy shave it off in the spring. Tell me what you think. Is short hair more appealing? should I chop it off, or let it grow?

| Ok, ladies, long hair, or short? Posted: 3/31/2005 7:24:52 PM | Not speaking for all women, but I personally LOVE A shaved head. Makes me weak in the knees
Long hair does look good on certain guys. And a shaved head looks terrible on some too. As long as you take care of whatever hair style you choose, it should be your choice, not anyone elses.
What ever you decide.... have fun with it! It is only hair, and it will grow back.

| Ok, ladies, long hair, or short? Posted: 3/31/2005 9:50:20 PM | For the fashion-blind
This may not be the cheapest way to go, but one option is to find a really really good stylist. Good and expensive are not always synonymous but good and cheap rarely are. Go in with your mop and tell him or her to do what they do. Maybe mention a media personality who is look you really like, but thats all. When they're done, weep briefly into your empty wallet and take a few photos. Next time you can get it done at speedycuts for $12.50
A good high end experienced stylist will know (again if they are good) what looks good on someone your shape. You might want to go in with a light beard too in case side burns will help. Do this once a year and you should stay more or less in fashion too.

| Ok, ladies, long hair, or short? Posted: 3/31/2005 11:45:11 PM | bring your hair down here to me...I can give you the latest trend in a mans haircut to suit who you are.....I have been a hairdresser for 16 years in and around the indianapolis area...and sorry to say to the folks who think you can only get a great haircut from a spa or high dollar salon...wrong....some of the best stylist I know work in those little speedy cut joints.......but hey it all depends on how much creativity and skill you bring as well as a good pair of shears.....so look thru some books and look at many different cuts...good luck and my best wishes to you. | |

| Ok, ladies, long hair, or short? Posted: 4/1/2005 7:41:35 AM | | its not the hair..its how ur hair smell and the way u carry it. Most guys have long hair but they look so thrash..some guys have shaved or shorties but they sometimes neglect its maintenance..so maybe ..its the way how u want it that reflects your personality but just be good smelling and have confidence.. I like to see guys who looks rough(specially those newly shaved cheeks that feels ohhhhh so rough.. grrrrrr!!! hehe) and dirty but smells like just got out of shower. Girls get attracted to men who are subtle, funny and mysterious..so its not about hair, race, or face-meter, ...its about the content of what a guy has..and of course his choice of words when we talk that will reflect his breed.. | |

| Ok, ladies, long hair, or short? Posted: 4/1/2005 8:22:23 AM | | I prefer a guy with short, styled hair. For some reason I find a guy with gel or whatever and some effort into the look to be sooo attractive.. | |

| Ok, ladies, long hair, or short? Posted: 4/1/2005 3:09:13 PM | Nice replies everyone. I guess I'll just get a trim for now (split ends and what-not). If it looks bunk, I'll get out the hedge trimmer. HEHEHE
My sister always tells me I look better with short hair, and I believe her. Someone said 'it's only hair it will grow back, well true sometimes. My Dad is bald, as are all his brothers. One day I might not have a choice in the matter, lol.
Maybe I like the long hair more for that reason than any else.... 'look at what's on my head"

| Ok, ladies, long hair, or short? Posted: 4/1/2005 3:15:29 PM | | I'm definitely a fan of the long hair as long as it doesn't have that 'I just spent a ton of money on my hair at the salon' look going. A good haircut is one thing, but I like guys to spend less time on their hair than me, and trust me, that's not a lot of time. A good brushing every couple of weeks or so keeps the dreads from sticking around. | |

| Ok, ladies, long hair, or short? Posted: 4/1/2005 3:43:38 PM | | No gel or spray for me please, unless we are going for the 'fuc me quick at the party nite out look' or something just too obscene to be worn at home in front of the TV. Spiked can be sexy, but not when your trying to run you hands thru it....bald is good also, love heads! A change (of style) does wonders for the imagination........ | |

| Ok, ladies, long hair, or short? Posted: 4/1/2005 3:55:16 PM | | I am tossing this around at the moment,, I found that the older crowd seems to love the long hair on me, and then the younger generation likes the cut it all off look , so i am tring to deside what fits my head | |

| Ok, ladies, long hair, or short? Posted: 4/1/2005 3:58:37 PM | | shattered...honestly you look good in both...the pics of you in the hat....cool short would suit you....but the long is sexy to.....Im a stylist so I know the hair thing! | |

| Ok, ladies, long hair, or short? Posted: 4/1/2005 4:00:29 PM | | I would consider myself in the younger generation and I'd say keep it long. If you can pull it off and it's not a mullet.... don't touch it. | |
