I don't get it

Ok, maybe I've been out of the dating game for too long but all the woman on here I have written to from Montana but one has done the "Read/deleted" thing without even the courtesy of a "Thanks but no thanks"

Has manners gone so far down the tubes that this is what women think is acceptable? Grief, if it is then maybe I am looking in the wrong place and need to look farther afield if women in Montana think this is ok to do.

Maybe it is just me but I thought that women in Montana were a cut above the rest of the world but my experiences thus far have proven me wrong. I grew up when men were Men and women were women and both knew what Chivalry and manners were.

Have fun folks,

Kevin

Happens everywhere Kevin.

Men and women alike have experienced this.

I haven't the foggiest why it is done by the recipient. I would like to think it is because they have far too many emails to answer and have to choose which ones are most important.

If there no investment in new emails, then they are probably the first to go.

Still, it's bad manners and something that has invaded us (not being xenophobic, just observant)

Of course, I was surprised the other day, I held the door open for an older lady that was a little way behind me, and she absolutely gushed about it. People shouldn't be surprised by good manners.

It's not just Montana, it's everywhere and its not just women either.....men don't have manners either...lol
I agree with you though...manners are gone...and as a woman, I too gush when someone opens a door or is of the old school and treats me like a woman. I love it..!!

I agree that it may seem like bad manners not to reply back to ever e-mail, but sometimes if you are getting 50 e-mails a day it's almost impossible to reply back to all of them. I find that I always reply if someone has written to me, but I almost never reply to flirts. I think if you don't hear back the person probably isn't what you are looking for. Just don't give up on all Montana girls...some may be just what you are looking for!!!

It happens to all of us... don't take it personal and quickly move on.

This is the best thing to do in my opinion...

Wasn't meant to be...

Just a passive-aggressive way of saying they're not interested.

Welcome to the world of Internet dating.
