I used to be a cashier and I was only fifteen at the time and I had thirty to fifty year old guys trying to flirt with me. It was sometimes weird but to be totally honest some guys were cute..lol..like the thirty year old ones. | |

I mean they're working and it just seems awkward.. and yet how else would you start something up with such people? It's kind of hard to meet people when even if you go out to places you don't really have a concept of how to meet people... you know?
I mean I go to bars from time-to-time with friends, but I'm probably not going to try and get to know someone there... because of the venue.
I actually wonder sometimes at the age of checkout girls... it can be hard to tell at times.
So asking or whatever might turn out to be even weirder if they were underage.

Flirting is actually is good for people, i find older women are very skilled at it were as younger generations have lost its subtletys of flirting. Anyways...I use to get hit on by 15 year old girls. I remember one girl asked me "what time I was finishing" ..."do you have a girlfriend", etc etc. It was like being chained to one spot, I couldn't escape lol.
But to answer your question.....damn right I flirt with cashiers! If I had to go through it, so do they. | |

I honestly think that some men don't make a distinction between friendly and flirting. I used to have a boyfriend that would flirt with cashiers, waitresses, saleswomen; anything that could wear pantyhose, he flirted with it. He truly didn't see it as flirting, merely being friendly, and didn't understand why it offended me when he did it in my presence.
Men and women rarely see things from the same perspective, and some men that seem to be flirting with much younger women may not see it that way. | |
