Posted: 12/27/2006 4:05:58 AM | I dont make resolutions cuz I never keep to them but I've got a few hopes and aspirations for the new year
I finish my degree in May and I hope to get a good grade
I want to lose this university weight that I've piled on, must have put a stone on for every year i've been at uni
I want health, peace & happiness for my family
I want to have some 'me' time
Last but not least I want to find my soulmate, but I say that every year and it never happens, so maybe 2007 will be my year
What are your hopes & aspirations for the new year? | |

well now that im single again just get back into living on my own which honestly isnt that hard...
stop biting my damn finger nails, I just got my package in the mail today with the cream to stop me from biting them...(I got some of it on my damn banana I was eating and it was bad so I wont even go near them now) | |

Posted: 12/27/2006 5:51:57 AM | I've just been thinking about that. I asked Santa for Christmas for a gentle and kind man who will love me and want to be with me..so hopefully I might just get that in 2007.
I also want health, happiness and wealth for my family and hope that my 2 sons will eventually get married and so will move into their own home.
I would also like to lose some weight, (doesn't nearly everybody want that) and also to get a better job with an improved wage.

I'd love Leeds to escape from their current predicament (unlikely)
I'd love Liverpool FC to either get relegated, go bust, disappear from my life (fairly unlikely)
I'd love to learn that Ken Livingstone was unable to inflict any more financial suffering upon London's inhabitants (unlikely)
I'd love to share the year with people who care for me (extremely likely) | |

A job that finally pays enough for me to leave home
To finish what I'm writing and have it looked at by a publisher
To be fitter and join a group such as sailing or some sort of martial art for mental as well as physical disapline.
To stop smoking
To do more for my family and hope they have what they want this year
And break down some emotional barriers and learn to trust again. | |

Posted: 12/27/2006 7:20:34 AM | last new year i decided was time for me - start looking after myself for a change - started eating better and lost 3 stone (and kept the weight off!) and been going gym etc - also was time to get the house under control after many years neglect while i built the business - house looking much nicer - had a gf for a while, got new motor, etc etc - this year been pretty good to me
2007 gonna be even better - gonna go on nice holidays, get the house finished, give up the smokes for good, have fun with friends and family, and get myself a long term gf / partner

I'm in my last educational year, finish and hopefully graduate in Substance Misuse Management in about June. The qualification is not a bad ticket to have, hopefully it will enable me to find gainful employment in my chosen field.
I'm also on the waiting list for a transfer outta Salford, so with a bit of luck I'll be offered a decent new property an can finally escape from Chav city
Then there is relationship issue's I am patient an do believe the right girl is out there for me so it just a case of waiting
What would be a perfect year for me would be new job, new flat new g/f, well they say good things happen in three's so................................... | |

lets just say more of the same from 2006
see my kids as often as possible
carry on enjoying the life i have ( and hopefully improve it with the aid of a nice woman )
carry on doing what i want , when i want , for as long as i want ( for the first time since 1992)
enjoy success showing my dogs
finally get to ride my vw trike (if i ever finish it )
and last but not least see my own personal nemesis where he rightfully belongs
but apart from that as long as i wake up every morning and hear the birds sing its a good day to be alive ........ | |

Have not really got that far with plans - I need to have a think.
I want to have a totally mental time on my mini tour of Ireland this May. I will be doing a shamanic retreat while there, and I do seem to have a knack of meeting awesome people in unexpected places.
I now have my camcorder. I have already had a novel published which was a dream since I was around 19, and now this year I am planning on building up loads of footage for a documentary film idea I have inside of my head. At least I know it will be out on google video, if not the telly. But most of my motivation for making it is to pass on some things I have learnt that people in tv land just can't get their heads around. If I am good and save some pennies I should be able to get a new PC in the middle of the year to be able to put it all together.
I am planning a dance/drumming event at a place called The Druids Temple - I know some amazing dancers, and have just met some drummers, so I will be working on that the next few months. It will be a free outdoor event held in a temple in a forest. It will be free to attend, but by special invite only.
I have just bought an ex army bivvy bag off ebay - I am hoping to spend the night up either Caidr Idris (a mountain) or Dinas Emrys (a hill) or both, both are in Snowdonia. These are meant to be special places and I have had friends who have done it before. Something we have all spoken abou doing for ages. One for the summer tho, maybe summer solstice.
So yeah, a good few things planned. As for soulmates, well, who knows ay?
Hope everyone has a huge 2007. Externally, i.e. in terms of global events, some huge things are going to be happening. The trick is not to let that affect you, and to crack on with your hopes and dreams.
