Hi there, I am from Corpus Christi and I have lived here all my life. I graduated from Carroll High School in 1981 and have raised my kids here.
There are not too many South Texas people on POF, at least in my opinion. Hopefully that will change soon!

I just found this site, but I have found one friendly woman named Deb in our area. She is both nice and pretty. I have been on this site less than a week and I hope to see more people who are interested as well. As a coincidence, I too am a teacher! I have been teaching (about 12 years), yet my field of study is Criminal Justice. So what type of subject matter is discussed in this forum?

Well, howdy, y'all. Yes, I'm from the south -- about 2 blocks south of Texas A&I (yes, it's still Texas A&I to many of us). Hope you've all recovered from the hail and the lightning.

I was a pounded a bit by the hail while I cooked the steaks on the pit, but I managed without losing an eye or being shocked by lightning. The steaks as well as the rest of the meal came out great.

Hi Liz...yeah, enjoying my summer too. I have met a couple of people from Corpus, but mostly San Antonio and yeah, Canada is definitely the majority of the site. Well, hopefully we'll get some more locals soon...TTFN.

Hello Deb,
Is someone from the Rio Grande Valley too far away for you? Pretty soon I will be going to the Kingsville Air Station for 90 days for some TAD work.

Hello Deb2005,
Glad you had fun in McAllen, yea Gram Station has its diversity of people from the valley and beyond. Did you walk out on your own or did you have help? Hope you come down more often. Have a good day.
